In housewife there is this buzzing in the background of the chorus that hurts my ears so much making it unlistenable. There are some other small lows but overall a great album. Although it is very long.

First jazz album I've ever listened to and it was so amazing. I could feel it in my bones. The visual stories being told through the music is just wonderful. I can see the dancers, feel their movement, hear their frat shuffling on the ground. Its really truly beutiful.
I feel like this album is clawing my guts out with the vocals while melting my brain with the instrumentals, and I love it.
Absolutely LOVE the sound of this. I would rate it lower because it gets repetitive but because of how much I love it I don’t care. Everything hits so fucking hard.
It really does feel like the end of the world doesn’t it? I can’t believe how powerfully dark and draining this album is. How can an album like this be created if the world hasn’t ended yet?
This was a harrowing thing to listen to. We are witnessing history right now. Absolutely insane.
I didn’t HATE some of MGK’s parts. In fact some of them were ok to me. Overall he still wasn’t good though. Trippie Redd was unlistenable the entire time.

This album is not for anyone who is in a unstable mental state. The emotional power of this album is so unbelievable raw. It's the rawest display of emotion I ever experienced in an album. Especially because of how recently he began to compose this after his wife's death. The vocals and the simplistic melodies along with the heart wrenching lyrics create a very strong experience that is heart breaking. Keep your loved ones close and ... read more

It's very hard to select a top three because of the sheer density of truly amazing songs. As someone whos life experience is about as far from Kendrick's as possible, I'm amazed at how well he brings me into his world. His genius can not be overstated here. The swaps from being braggadocios (in a good way), to expertly showing his emotions gives me a very interesting look into his mind. The fusion of R&B, jazz, and hip hop is so seamless ... read more
