My Chemical Romance - The Foundations of Decay
95

It grew on me a lot! I didn't like the mix when it was first released. Now I love it!!

Xania Monet - Unfolded

Why do I see grindcore albums on “You May Also Like” section??

Poppy - Negative Spaces

For a 15 track album, it has enough variety to keep you entertained. There are some songs that are whatever, but overall Poppy and Jordan Fish did a great job here.

Poppy - Unravel

Similar style to the singles for Nex Gen. Not bad though.

Lorna Shore - Unbreakable

The riff is so annoying, it sounds out of tune.

PRESIDENT - Fearless

Better than the first one. The main melody is decent but the autotune is atrocious. And why do we still have to hear kids singing the chorus in 2025? It’s so cheesy.

My Chemical Romance - Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge (Deluxe Edition)
97

The best album released in 1977 (According to Apple Music)

Snow Strippers - April Mixtape 2

Pretty solid album and very energetic and fun album. Up until “It’s a dream” it’s borderline perfect but it doesn’t hit the same in the second half of the tracklist.

My Favorite Tracks: Sabotage and My Own Mistake

Lorna Shore - Oblivion

I enjoyed it a lot. It’s the slowed-down version of what they did previously on their last album, like what Slayer did with South of Heaven.

Rihanna - Friend Of Mine
55

The melody is decent but what is up with this production? It's processed to hell.

Linkin Park - Unshatter
55

The riff is so bland. Shindoa’s flows are annoying. Emily’s vocals are great as always.

Sleep Token - Damocles
60

It’s too inoffensive. Probably their most basic song yet.

Ed Sheeran - Azizam
65

The instrumentation is really well done but the songwriting is nothing standout compared to the golden age of persian pop music. The beat is somewhat basic but does the job. The chorus though is annoying.

Sleep Token - Caramel
65

I enjoyed listening to it until they awkwardly transitioned to the heavy part which was short and unnecessary. Also the autoune at 1:52 mark is terrible. The drumming is really good tho.

Deafheaven - Lonely People With Power

After 4 listens, it got better and better each time. It's a clear improvement over everything they have done so far. The lyrics are probably the most vulnerable and yet direct. The Incidentals are well executed, and I love how they are connected thematically.

Doberman is probably their best album opener since Dream House. Magnoila was the perfect lead single to hype up everyone and it fits perfectly in the tracklist. The Garden Route is less intense, it’s similar to OCHL’s ... read more

It’s the first album from this band that I could listen to from start to finish. This sort of sound tends to bore me after a while, this album is very diverse and really explorative.

Overall, I can say i’m very impressed; almost every song slaps.

It’s rare for me to pay attention to the lyrics when I listen to extreme metal, but I can say knowing the lyrics makes it an even cooler experience. Also am I tripping or the last moments of Industry of Misery sounds like I Want ... read more

Probably the best rock song he ever released. I wish he didn’t rap on this.

"If you’re not a casual metal listener, I don’t think modern deathcore is a good option to listen to. You should probably listen to indie-influeneced genres like Blackgaze or Post-Metal."

"I think Brad and Fantano’s reviews garnered a much larger audience on review websites than a normal alt metal band is supposed to get. Now anyone who doesn’t even really listen to this type of music feels the need to dunk on them just to be considered cool. As a fan of their first album, I think most of their stuff after that was kinda mid but not as offensive as some people may suggest."

"No problem! I know it’s the purpose of this website to review every genre. However, Extreme Metal genres like Black Metal are inaccessible by nature to push out “normies”. I myself it took me years to appreciate bands in this lane. Deafheaven is not the most innovative, but they do it the best imo. Maybe you appreciate bands like Alcest more as they are more artsy and ethereal."

"Deafheaven's Sunbather was my gateway to Black Metal, even as a guy who listened to metal for years, I struggled to get into BM. This record is heavier but I can see it to be more accessible for people, because it does everything to keep you engaged throughout the whole runtime."
