Not my favorite experimental rap album but their grief really shines through and gives the album a lot of substance. Also Grapefruit is just so goofy and I can’t take it seriously.
Unfortunately probably Denzel’s worst album but not bad by no means. It just doesn’t have that great production that most of his projects have and he understandably took more of a step back to allow his partners to get more rapping time.
While my taste was mostly influenced by the custom Newgrounds songs in the game, the base game songs still strike a chord with me and are pretty nostalgic with Time Machine being my favorite. Also why is this unofficial.
Fairly good cloud rap album but it feels like his voice doesn’t really match the vibe of the production a lot of the time and some of the lyrics are pretty bad.
A cut down version of the 24hr version but doesn’t really represent it that well with entire sections of the song being cut out. The 100 minute version on youtube is a better representation of the song than both the album version and the original 24hr version imo.
I really like what they’re going for but it just feels too unpolished and I’m surprised it’s rated as high as it is since I feel like my rating should be on the higher end.
Listened with my friend as he’s a big Faye Webster fan and while probably a good introduction to her, it seemingly isn’t her best but I still enjoyed it for what it is.
Not as good as the official soundtrack but I’m a decent fan of some of the tracks they selected here for the movie.
Personally I prefer Crater Speak as the number of tracks kind of overwhelms me despite their length but still a really interesting album.
Not as big of a fan off Peggy’s earlier works but there are some amazing tracks on here with Jesus Forgive Me, I Am a Thot and Free The Frail.
Love me some Japanese shoegaze but there are better options out there imo.
One of TV Girl’s better records and Jordana’s voice is a nice breath of fresh air after hearing Brad’s more samey vocals for their other albums.
I’m not as crazy about Machine Girl as other people but I still enjoy it and see why so many love them.
Didn’t really live up to 1999 but I honestly didn’t expect it to tbh. Still has some bangers like Survivors Guilt, Written in the Stars, and Brand New 911 but also a few weaker tracks and a Chris Brown feature
Really surprised Darkie was able to put out something as relaxed and introspective as this. He’s always teased us with tracks like Banana Pie and I Can See Clearly but I didn’t realize he had a full album of that style in him. Has some weaker cuts but tracks like i’m going CRAZY justify its score and show us another side of Darkie we haven’t seen before.
Interesting debut but didn’t really feel original enough to justify sticking to one strict style for the whole album.
Really interesting neo-psychedelia album that while a bit unpolished, got me invested in them so i’m hoping they continue to make innovative psych pop albums.
Good more experimental trap record that didn’t really live up to the hype but I didn’t really expect it to anyways.
