Something about this album just makes it a really enjoyable listen, the cover probably helps
SOAD can do no wrong, only reason its my least favourite of theirs (which isn't really saying much) is that its missing those heart wrenching harmonies in all of the other albums.
Definitely grown on me, especially cut the bridge and stained. Also don't think Emily is the issue in any of the tracks and she actually makes a lot of them more catchy and impactful e.g. stained and IGYEIH. I think the most annoying parts of this album come from some of Mike's rap parts which just come across as a bit cringe to me. Don't think I've ever been more conflicted with an album. So many great ideas but still feels so unbearably cheesy (spirit carries on which just felt like a pink floyd song without any real emotion). Don't know if it's just the singers voice which feels so separate from the the music or if it's just my personal taste since the heavy weird proggy elements are what I enjoy the most about the band.
