This might end up being the weirdest project of the year. Unironically this is more likely to scare the hoes. It's an absolute mess, but that's kinda what's enjoyable about it. Disappointed, I think that's the only word I could use to describe my feelings about this album, and honestly I don't know why. I shouldn't and have never had any expectations for a project from Durk, but I just ended a semester where I had classes on Gangsta and Drill music where we spoke about him a lot. I really just wanted to avoid this album, I knew I wouldn't like it and I had no interest in hate listening the entire hour runtime of this album, but people just would not stop talking about this damn album. This is such a difficult rating to give an unbiased look at. I listened to this when it dropped and honestly thought it was mid to straight ass at times, but then I saw the movie and it's too heavily linked to how impactful that movie was on me. The two are basically inseparable in my mind as every song feels like watching scenes from the movie.
