some time last year I saw The Smashing Pumpkins live without any prior knowledge of who they were or what they sounded like, they where playing with weezer. I went in completely blind and left fairly happy, like i wasn't made into their biggest fan overnight, but the performance intrigued me enough to check out Siamese Dream (review coming soon), which is seen as their their magnum opus, which i also used to see getting glazed in online spaces for years. this album was a slow burner for me, and it took so long to get used to, but every time a song clicked it felt like heaven
