Still one of the greatest pop albums of all time, despite what the Melon Man may say.
(And yes, this review is surprisingly long.)
I just came back from the Michael movie because, yeah, it's very likely going to become one of the biggest box office hits of all time. I'd give it around a 6–7/10, but I won't get into why since this isn't Metacritic.
Enough about that. This is the highest-selling album of all time, and since so many people can summarize Michael ... read more
The more I listen to this album, the more I realize that One More Red Nightmare is one of the greatest songs of all time.
Don't have much else to say besides just the instrumentals on this record are next to none. I'm barely even being rhetorical they're that good.
Favorite Tracks: Red, One More Red Nightmare, Starless,
Least Favorite Track: Providence
One of the biggest surprises in my years of being a music nerd.
Seriously, why is this not in the top 500 albums of all time at the very least? What knocks it down lol The beautiful vocals, extremely consistent song quality, solid songwriting, or the absolutely spectacular, super creative psychedelic production?
Favorite Tracks: Care Of Cell 44, Maybe After He's Gone, Beachwood Park, Brief Candles, Hung Up On A Dream, This Will Be Our Year, Time Of The Season

Released three albums, and none of them are better than a 5/10. Truly the GOAT.
I don't even know what to say anymore, man. Drake delivers the same flows and lyrical styles he's been using since at least 2016. The record is extremely inconsistent, with the lows being LOW — much lower than the user scores would make it seem — and the highs aren't anything special either.
Drake just needs to take a few years off from music. I honestly hope these three most recent ... read more
She’s definitely Kurt Cobain’s wife.
—that’s not an understatement. That was on my mind throughout pretty much the entire record due to its resemblance to Nirvana’s Nevermind and In Utero, especially in its punk-ish, alt-rock, grungy aesthetic. (Although its more nuanced than that, it has it's own style.) That said, it’s not a bad thing at all—I love Nirvana, and this record comes close to the quality of those albums (which is probably blasphemous ... read more
One of the greatest primes for any rapper.
Its just a non stop 4 minutes of hilarious punchlines. (REAL Gs MOVE IN SILENCE LIKE LASAGNA) the Cory Gunz feature is surprisingly great as well.
Repost:
“Chuck D could rap nursery rhymes and still sound fucking cool.” — Melon Man
Chuck D’s rapping is incredible, and he has one of the best cadences of any rapper. Flavor Flav is a hilarious, energetic hype man who adds a lot of personality to the album. That said, the Bomb Squad’s production is really where this record shines. It’s one absolutely fantastic, well-produced cut after the next, with barely any downtime. Tracks like Bring the Noise, ... read more
The production on this album is absolutely mind-blowing
Favorite Track: All

Goated album cover.
I won't comment on the lyricism since I'm a dumb American and can't understand the language, but I imagine it relates to comfort and childlike happiness, given that "Tadaima" literally translates to "I'm home." The entire album sounds so blissful and innocent, especially in songs like Harusaki Kobeni, Tadaima, and I Sing. But the super colorful, energetic, energetic and futuristic Techno Kayo instrumentals (basically a more primitive ... read more
Predicting a light 4 from the melon man.
I think Kanye may be back unless this is just a fluke. The first 9 tracks are genuinely some of his best since 2019, but then it falls off a cliff to an even worse extent than what I think the user scores show. They sound like Vultures 2 relics. Also still using ai to make art...
Favorite Track: King (crazy production on this one)
Least Favorite Track: Circles
"Audibly very queer" - Pitchfork
I have no idea what to make of this album. It takes Never For Ever's weirdness and innovative, quirky songwriting and beats it with a metal pipe until its blood is splattered all over the album cover. That was an awful analogy, but you get my point. My point is this: this is an extremely weird—and once again quirky—record, from everything to the songwriting, production, and especially vocals. Sometimes she's screaming her brains ... read more
“Sometimes rhymin' I blow my own mind like Nirvana.” 🔥🔥
You guys are not glazing this nearly enough. Sure, it’s a product of its time, and I would definitely classify it as “lyrical miracle rap,” but here it’s done absurdly well. Between the incredible flows, amazing rapping, and great rhyme schemes—especially on Twinz (Deep Cover ’98)—that whole “Dead in the middle of Little Italy…” rhyme scheme is so ... read more
I'm officially on the hype train.
I only listened to this because it’s in the top 500 albums of all time, to be honest, but I don’t regret that decision. Very fun and catchy songs, especially tracks 2–3 and 7. I should probably check out more stuff from this artist.
Favorite Track: Do It
Least Favorite Track: Tell Me (U Want It)
I don’t think arguably the most famous album of all time needs an in-depth review from me.
To keep it relatively short, it’s one of the best-produced albums of all time—whether that’s Come Together with its walking bass and drums, Something with its beautiful guitar work, or the heavy instrumental on I Want You (She’s So Heavy). But I also appreciate it for its incredible, sometimes mysterious songwriting, especially on the hits of the album Here Comes the Sun, ... read more
Blud thinks he's Frank Ocean 😂
Seriously though this album is just so boring ane unmemorable I don't know what to say about it
Favorite Track: N/A
Least Favorite Track: Against The Grain
My favorite track off OK Computer.
I was just listening to it and WOW—I think people truly overlook just how incredible this song is. For one, that “I feel my luck could change” vocal refrain from Thom Yorke toward the end of the song, mixed with the ear-candy bass is one of my favorite musical moments ever. But beyond that, it's the bassline which, in my opinion, is the greatest bassline of all time—period. Super memorable and recognizable. Besides Colin ... read more
"You're just not depressed enough!" – some 14-year-old XXXTENTACION fan probably.
I hate to be the pretentious, snobbish, annoying music nerd, but you guys need way higher standards if this is a 53/100. If you enjoy it, I will respect that no matter what, but God, it's so boring, unmemorable, and angsty. Even me—who's a huge fan of Olivia Rodrigo—can't stand his fake depression. It also kind of makes it seem like all depressed teens are just ... read more
William Shakespeare Songwriting Credit
This is a pretty underrated album in my opinion. I mean, it’s in the top 500 albums of all time on AOTY, but it still doesn’t get talked about enough. It was made during the Beatles’ psychedelic era, and the whole project feels like a strange but really creative conceptual piece. Honestly, to me it’s perfect and my favorite album from them. The whole thing just feels colorful and creative in a way that never gets boring, no matter ... read more
