“Way more consistent than an album with that many guys should be.” – 6/10 My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy reviewer.
Easily my favorite hip-hop album of all time. For obvious reasons, it has one of the best and most underrated producers ever doing all of the beats, as well as some of the best rappers the genre has ever seen: Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, GZA, Method Man, etc. That’s kind of what I love most about this record—literally every rapper here is unique and ... read more
The sex offenders keep on delivering.
Total classic—an album that nearly everyone has listened to at least once. It’s a landmark record in folk rock and rock as a whole, featuring some of their biggest and best songs like Black Dog, Rock and Roll, Going to California, and Stairway to Heaven. But even the deep cuts are incredible. In my opinion, tracks like When the Levee Breaks, Misty Mountain Hop, and The Battle of Evermore are just as great as the hits. That’s what makes ... read more
First 5 songs are great and then it falls off a cliff afterwards.

So yeah it turns out this is just another Harry Styles album and not the progressive synth pop 10/10 masterpiece I thought it would be

Fantano Dickriding Final Boss:
But no, it definitely is worthy of that 10/10 praise. Physical Graffiti has grown on me tremendously over these past few weeks, especially with how heavy it’s been in my rotation (I’ve probably listened to tracks 1, 2, 5, and 6 over 50 times in the past seven days alone). At this point, I’d consider it my favorite — or at the very least second favorite — Led Zeppelin project, just behind Led Zeppelin IV.
One of the main reasons is ... read more
I can’t believe I once dismissed Mitski’s music as a boring TikTok trend.
I should’ve listened to this way sooner, but I was really busy with some personal life stuff and listening to Madvillainy three times per day. Anyway, this is another great singer-songwriter record from Mitski, with some great lyricism and vocals. However, as many people have noted, her sound is getting a bit formulaic, and I’ve always preferred the more slacker/Indie rock Mitski. Still, I’m ... read more
Truly made their best album since Plastic Beach—maybe, hopefully, they’re entering a second prime.
Favorite track: The Happy Dictator
Least favorite track: The God of Lying
What the fuck do you guys have against Good Flirts 😭 I genuinely thought it was one of the strongest songs on the album.
Because of the awful album cover and the mixed reception of this project, I thought I wasn’t gonna like it at all, but it pleasantly surprised me. Sometimes Baby Keem’s vocals are a little annoying, and obviously he’s not a good lyricist at all, which is why the intro and outro are so underwhelming. But if you look past those flaws, you get a genuinely ... read more
"YOU GIVE ME FRICTIONNNN"
History: 85-100-98
Lyricism is absolutely incredible, but the production—Jesus Christ—It’s one of the best-produced albums of all time, especially the guitar work on tracks like Friction and Marquee Moon. It’s absolutely worthy of its classic status for sure.
Favorite Track: Friction (I’m probably the only person in history who doesn’t prefer the title track.)

Once again, Ballad of a Thin Man is probably my favorite song of all time.
Between the dark piano "stabs," Bob Dylan's cryptic and progressive lyricism about a clueless journalist confronting a world he can’t understand because of its supposed hypocrisy, and my all-time favorite hook—“Something is happening here and you don’t know what it is, do you, Mr. Jones”—the song just hits on so many levels. The imagery Dylan creates feels disturbijg, ... read more
Eric Dolphy is my GOAT.
I don’t really know jazz like that so I’m not going to act like I understand the theory behind it, but this is one of the most experimental and creative albums I’ve ever heard. I love how chaotic but still completely intentional it sounds on “Gazzelloni,” “Hat and Beard,” and “Straight Up and Down.” It feels unpredictable but never messy. The bass on this record is amazing and I love the sax tones too. And then ... read more

Leflaur Leflah Eshkoshka is a top 10 hip-hop beat of all time for me.
I’m really surprised this isn’t regarded as a classic in the mainstream because it has some of the best production of the era. Undastand, Operation Lock Down, Sean Price, and of course Leflaur Leflah Eshkoshka are the main highlights for me personally. There’s also some really solid rapping and lyricism throughout, which oddly reminds me of Organized Konfusion and Liquid Swords. It’s just a very solid ... read more
In my opinion, slightly more inconsistent than Sour.
It feels like more of the same from Sour—hooky, angsty breakup songs—but this time with a much more humorous undertone, which thankfully keeps it refreshing. I love how she incorporated more guitars on this record; it helps set her apart in the pop world, since that’s not something you see as much anymore.
Although I’m a bit worried that her next album might just be another Guts or Sour, I have faith that she’s ... read more
I swear I share all of the same takes as everyone else.
But.... It’s the fifth highest-rated album of all time for a reason — it’s incredibly creative, with some of the most grandiose rock instrumentals ever recorded. Every track is perfect and creates such a beautiful atmosphere, despite being quite sad and devastating at times. It’s truly an incredible album deserving of the praise, though I won’t go into further detail. Because I'm lazy....

Quite possibly the most underrated album of all time.
A Saucerful of Secrets is easily my favorite Pink Floyd album and a strong 10/10, which is for sure a hot take. The album is definitely not as grandiose as some of the band’s later, more cinematic works—such as The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, The Wall—but the psychedelic production here is flawless from start to finish. I love what I ... read more
My favorite album of all time.
This is going to be a track-by-track breakdown of everything I love about this record because I genuinely have so much to say about this being one of the most verbose, eccentric, and creative albums of all time. However, this will not go into the backstory of the record or Talking Heads as a whole, just what I appreciate about this masterpiece of an album.
