Quite a good ending. This is the maximum we could ask from a group that isn't a group anymore, honestly. It's not excellent, and there are some hella cringe moments, and the farewell songs are sometimes cringe.
I still love BROCKHAMPTON, and i'm sad that this is their last albumWAIT THEY JUST DROPPED AGAIN
Not bad, but the worst record that Radiohead has ever put out. It's very bland and soulless, even if the instrumental and vocal qualities are still there. It's very forgettable, as only Lotus Flower really stood with me.
How have Muse arrived there?
It's the worst "society is bad!!!" wannabe-rebellious rock album that i've listened in a long time.
This is just complete dogshit with no meaning or real context whatsoever.
I love Killed or Be Killed. And that's it. All the rest is shit. S H I T. I loved this band, but now that they received a NOT GOOD i cannot listen to them anymore.
Yoyu know what? I don't hate this project, it's listenable. It's kinda cringe and boring for the majority of the tracklist, but it has some good moments (precisely the first three songs and Thought Contagion). Still a mediocre project put out by Muse, that seems destined to mediocrity.
I hate this project. I love Muse, but this is their end as a rock band and their beginning as a meme band. It has its moments, but overall The 2nd Law is very bland, uninteresting and predictable. The mixtures with EDM that the band tries on this project does not end well, resulting in a complete loss of identity of the band's DNA. It's like they are trying to do Kid A, but it doesn't end well.
IThis is Muse's Hail To The Thief. Very politically charged, with very good moments, like Uprising, resistance, Unnatural Selection, but Guiding Light is the definitive symptom of the band's decline. The overture is pretty great too. It's a little bit monotonous, and Matt's vocals are not under control here, but it's still good.
At first, i was giving it an 80, but i changed my mind, because of what is probably one of my 5 favourite tracks ever: Knights of Cydonia. This is another extremely good project, it's consistent and has lots of incredible instrumentals, and there are some meh moments, but all in all the goods (like the triplets in Take A Bow, the synths and the piano on Map Of The Problematique, everything in City of Delusion and Knights of Cydonia, etc) outweighs the not goods. This is still the beginning of ... read more
Another great project, and another of the reasons of why i love Muse.
The pessimism and critics in regard of society and governments are not new to the band at this point, and in this project they put together the nihilism (more moderate than the first two albums) and the social argument. It's a very well crafted conceptual album, with loads of bangers like Apocalypse Please, Time Is Running Out, Butterflies And Hurricanes, Hysteria and obviously Stockholm Syndrome with the incredible bass ... read more
This is why i love Muse.
An incredible alternative rock album, with no bad tracks and an incredibly stacked tracklist, with probably the best rock opener in the 2000's (New Born) and my favourite of all time besides Wesley's Theory, Space dementia and his outstanding piano, the hits like Plug In Baby, the falsetto in Micro Cuts. The instrumentals are incredible, the feelings that everything in the complex brings, with the mixtures of classic rock instruments, synths and electronic ingredients, ... read more
The debut album from british band Muse is kind of an hidden gem in late 90's rock. The sound is still raw and not mature and super cohesive, but the instrumental in this album are very good, and fit very well into each of the tracks. Overall a good start by one of my favourite early 2000's alt rock bands.
Three fucking 95's in a row for Bjork, and it's well deserved. Another masterpiece right here, that has a sound like no others in music history. It's very complicated to get, but once you get her, it's just incredible. One of the best three-album runs ever. Pagan Poetry is just absurd.
I do not understand her music even more now.
This album is extremely good by a vocal and technicla standpoint, but it doesn't get me exited or moved. It's good, but it does not click. There are a few very good tracks, but nothing has really stood for me ever since this project came out.
Copy my review of Mainstream sellout and paste it here. Literally the same album, and even if there are some mid (not bad) moments, there is Emo girl, WW4, Drug Dealer that are worse than the whole previous album.
Honestly, i don't give a fuck about this.
And form my 104th revew, here we go with my first 0 ever.
Tickets To My Downfall is an abnoxious, boring, repetitive and bland album by my FAVOURITE ARIST OF ALL TIME (trust me) Machine Gun Kelly. This is the most simple in a bad way and stereotyped pop punk i have ever listened to. And for God's sake, why and i repeat WHY IS MGK SINGING. He has a horrible and out of tune voice, and his timber reminds me of the sound of the engine of an airplane. Lirically speaking this is dogshit, it has ... read more
Another good project, just not as good as the others. THE LIGHT PT II is their best song ever no cap. Sadly this is their penultimate project, and looking at the vote, i'm shocked at the consistency that they displayed thorought their career together. Can't see what the next album is looking like.
This is my unpopular opinion.
Everybody that tries to say "oh no BH as gone pop", just shut the fuck up. This album has no skips whatsoever, little to none bad moments and a solid tracklist. It has tracks like NO HALO, BOY BYE, GINGER, etc. that are top tier tracks. It's their 2nd best work for me after SAT1, and easily their most personal one.
