Gets off on very uneven footing but really grows into itself in the latter half of the album
gets very tedious towards the end which is a shame after such a strong first 3/4 of the record
Mamma Mia and Time to Pretend are quality, but Chiquitita and Someone Like You sound like drunken renditions among friends at a party at 2am. Not what I've come to expect from BCNR
There's some great stuff on here but the album is really unpolished and more than a few songs feel unfinished and under developed. It's a shame because the sound is great, as good as Gojira's best work
A handful of strong tracks on the backend barely keep this record from drowning in a sea of weak ideas and performances
Second half of the album is weaker than the first, but still very strong
There's talent on show, but not a whole lot to elevate the album or excite on any level
Not the strongest work from MIKE who is normally one of the best in the business
Some highlights, but mostly just really underdeveloped and disappointing
