The first half of the album is pretty good. That's it. If all that existed was an EP of the first half of this album, I would probably be giving it a 7/10 or maybe an 8/10 if I was feeling generous. One of These Days is undoubtedly an amazing introduction, and A Pillow of Winds is a very nice, more acoustic tune which reminds me of Rubber Soul. Fearless is okay, but I think I like it a bit less than other people seem to. San Tropez is PEACH (it's a pretty fun tune). Seamus feels like ... read more
Hearing the opening lyrics to SOYCD was one of the most amazing musical experiences I have ever had. After eight minutes of masterful buildup, Roger Waters comes in and delivers two absolutely haunting verses: "Remember when you were young, you shone like the sun." "Now there's a look in your eyes, like black holes in the sky." I am not lying when I say that these opening lines floored me the first time I heard them.

This album underscores a brutal reality. An ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip (and West Bank) has killed hundreds of thousands of innocent people. Even before that, Israel brutalized the Palestinian people and treated them as subhuman.
For every glimmer of hope in this album, there is a desolate bleakness which cannot be ignored. You can hear the hope and resilience of the Palestinian people break through in the first half of the album (especially in the outstanding second track), only to be ... read more
The Dark Side of the Moon is genuinely an amazing album, but I actually feel like it is the weakest entry in Pink Floyd's "Big 4." I just think that Wish You Were Here, Animals, and The Wall deliver more in terms of a substantive message. With that out of the way, Dark Side is a fucking amazing album and I'd love to gush about it.
The album opens in such a mysterious way, bringing you into a soundscape before you plunge into Breathe and the album actually starts proper. I ... read more
I'm not going to lie - this album took more than one listen to really get into. The concept of the album isn't really something that you can easily pick up on its own without looking it up. However, if you do understand the concept of the album going into it... just wow.
Ziggy Stardust sounds absolutely majestic. It is a beautiful, gorgeous album that takes you to a different world. I think that the spacey aesthetic that this album helped pioneer is still mesmerizing in the present ... read more
I genuinely cringed while listening to this shit-fest. The lyrics feel like they were written by a terminally-online, 15-year old gooner.
Thick of It is an incredibly annoying song, in which KSI gloats about how famous and successful he is. Low is somehow even more annoying, sounding like a knockoff K-pop track. They both suck in their own ways. Bad single overall.
This is an alright album. I think that the production is all-around good. I also think that T is a good lyricist. What I don't like about a few songs on this album, however, is the messaging behind them. I'm not a big fan of the fact that T seems to be glorifying his time as a coke dealer on at least 3 of the tracks. I did like Santeria a decent bit though.
Best Tracks: Come Back Baby, Santeria, Infrared
I was going to write a super long review about this album. I was going to go in depth on the whole story behind it and why I fucking LOVE this album. I was going to talk about each and every little minute detail that Jack Stauber managed to stuff in here. I gave up writing that review because it got way too long and I was still only at Pressed Flowers. Maybe I'll do it someday. Anyways, listen to this album. Like, seriously. Do it. Now.

All Things Must Pass, I must say, is proof that George Harrison is the best Beatle. Obviously, the other Beatles are amazing musicians, but All Things Must Pass is far above other Beatles projects (even ones I would consider 10/10 such as Abbey Road or MMM), that it's actually kind of shocking.
First up, ATMP has a PERFECT 4-song run to start out with. This 20-minute run of music from "I'd Have You Anytime" to "Isn't It a Pity" is literally FLAWLESS. Harrison ... read more
So, this album is amazing. It’s really, really good. I thought I’d have more to say, but it’s not really possible to put how good this album is into words. I will attempt to do so, however.
The Age of Adz is like being schizophrenic and looking towards the horizon from the peak of a mountain in Feudal Japan, just as the sun rises and reflects off of the mountaintops in such a magical way.
There, that’s my best attempt.

Jesus Christ, what at an absolute masterpiece. This album is absolutely ethereal! It quite literally takes you away to another plane. All three of the main songs on here are amazing, and the Pigs on the Wings tracks serve as perfect bookends. I especially love the lyrics on here, which are just an absolutely scathing rebuke of capitalists, politicians, and the people who listen to them. Dogs, especially, is just such a cruel takedown of businessmen, and I absolutely love that.
Best Track: Dogs
I love a good concept album, but The Wall is a bit too… empty. There’s just a lot of empty space here, and that doesn’t really bode well for an album of this length. I love the story that this album is trying to tell (and it definitely does so well) and I also love the recurring motifs that the album uses to tie itself together. Still, it’s too flawed for me to give it a higher score than this.
Best Track: Nobody Home
Edit: 80 -> 90

It’s got some really good songs on it, but also a lot of average ones as well. It’s also definitely not as coherent as Abbey Road. Still pretty great though.
Best Tracks: Across the Universe, Let it Be
Mostly mixed opinions here. Some of the stuff here is okay, but most of it is just kind of forgettable. Blood on the Leaves could have been great if it weren't for the annoying backing voice. Also, what's up with all the weird Jamaican accents? Those are just my thoughts.
Best Tracks: New Slaves, Blood on the Leaves, Bound 2
I don’t think this is the Beatles’ best album, but it is still very good. It also revolutionized the music industry by popularizing the idea of the concept album, although later albums would go on to perfect the format. All in all, it’s really good and also A Day in the Life is a masterpiece and one of the best songs ever.
Best Tracks: With a Little Help From My Friends, Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds, Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite!, A Day in the Life
I will probably never listen to this again. This one of those gross, disgusting albums that makes you feel horrible by the end. It isn't an enjoyable listen at all. The lyrics and sound of this album are grimy and horrifying. My heart is actually a little bit uneasy after listening to this. I was actually going to give this one an 8/10, but the fact that I still feel like this almost 30 minutes later has made me raise that score. Basically, it's a horrible album, but in a good way. I will admit that I didn't care much for this album at first; it took a few listens for it to click for me. After this album clicked, I can sincerely say that it is amazing. No, it is not without flaws, but I genuinely think this album reflects a certain level of increased ambition from Will as an artist. Self-ish is a concept album exploring self identity, mental illness, and addiction. It is partially an examination of Will's mind at the time, but also partially not. The album is tied ... read more
Looking back on this album, the trajectory of Will Wood’s music career has been quite interesting. During the production of this album, Will was still, to put it bluntly, super fucking addicted to drugs. A large portion of the songs on this album are just straight-up about drug and alcohol addiction. However, this album also goes very hard. It’s super jazzy, in Will Wood fashion. There are a few milder moments on the album but no part of the album could even be close to described as ... read more
So, this technically isn’t a real album; it’s actually a soundtrack for a podcast. However, this soundtrack right here has some standout Will Wood tracks. The four songs included on here are all great, with To Err Is Human being the weakest and Your Body, My Temple being the strongest. You can also listen to the whole thing through, but it’s not like it’s particularly amazing when you do so. Good Morning, Campers! and Under a Technicolor Sky are the best instrumentals on ... read more
