Okay, so, Nature Tapes is not really incredible or anything like that. In essence, it’s a giant shitpost from Neil. The album is purposefully raunchy for comedic effect. The entire gimmick of this EP is that Neil keeps saying “fuck” and talking about really weird subjects. Ultimately, it’s absolutely hilarious. Two Trucks is obviously notorious on its own, but the whole run from that through to Jaws (minus Goosebumps) is a laugh riot. However, there are definitely some ... read more
Not sure exactly what there is to be said about this album that hasn’t already been. The songs are amazing. I Want You (She’s So Heavy) being followed up by Here Comes the Sun is genius. The medley is, of course, incredible. It’s a really good album. There you go, that’s Abbey Road.
Best Tracks: Something, I Want You (She’s So Heavy), Here Comes the Sun, You Never Give Me Your Money, Carry That Weight
This one was pretty hard for me to decide on a rating for. The artistic merit is obviously there, with this album being one of Neil’s most experimental by far. Sick Puppy alone is probably one of Neil’s largest artistic achievements, considering the song actually makes me feel sick when listening to it (which is exactly the point). It’s an amazing and disturbing end to an overall great album. The album also has one of Neil’s best “social critique” songs in ... read more
I'm back. I'm probably going to get my Tally Hall fan card revoked for saying this, but this album is not very good. Most of the songs are just nonsensical gibberish lyrics with Bora just saying "stuff." Also, he drops the f slur in Tap Tap Tap and that kind of pisses me off. Bora's a good musician, so I have no idea how he managed to fuck up the majority of this album. But that's the thing though, he fucked up the MAJORITY of it. There are two excellent songs trapped on this album ... read more
Dinosaurchestra is pretty good in the first half, but really good in the second half. This album has some really amazing standout tracks on it, and is definitely produced quite a bit better than the previous Lemon a demon albums (although still not perfectly). The first half is a bit more invested in satirical and jokey tracks, while the second half has slightly more serious, although still goofy tracks. Also, this album is “technically” a concept album, due to the Dinosaurchestra ... read more
Not necessarily on the level of Spirit Phone, but still incredibly good. The tracks here are very catchy with a healthy of dose of Lemon Demon satire thrown in for good measure. View-Monster also sets itself apart from other Lemon Demon entries by having short transition tracks between each of the main tracks on the album, which can honestly be hit or miss. Still, go listen to this one; it’s pretty much the album that got me into Lemon Demon.

I have never listened to this band before, but someone on the Jack Stauber Discord server was gushing about their new album, so I decided to give it a listen. When this album is good, it is GOOD. When this album is bad, it sounds like generic radio hits or edgy emo music. Nothing here was exactly what I’d call unenjoyable, though, which is good. My favorite songs are the ones that employ creative melody switch-ups, which I think that this album does fairly well. This album also, for the ... read more
This album acts as a veritable grab-bag of Beatles goodness, with an extreme amount of innovation on a track to track basis. This album is definitely less cohesive than the ones that came before it, but the quality of the songs is so good that it’s easily ignorable. I will say that the first volume of the album is better than the second one, with almost every song on the first volume being an absolute banger. The second volume is weaker, but definitely more innovative, which helps make up ... read more
This album feels like drinking coffee with several grams of crack cocaine mixed into it... and I love it. There's barely a quiet moment as you're pelted by big band broadway goodness and the type of witty lyricism that only Will Wood can deliver. The album explores the themes of what it means to be normal, taking a look at American suburbia, mental illness, identity, and more. The opening track, "Suburbia Overture," is by far the best track on this album, essentially acting as the ... read more
An absolute masterpiece of a final song for the Beatles. The track takes on a ghostly feel with John Lennon’s faded vocals really adding to the atmosphere of the track. Heartbreaking and melancholy, but ultimately a last, victorious hurrah.
I generally like to give constructive criticism rather than just roasting something that I perceive as bad. I have listened to this album twice. I only listened to it passively the first time, at which point I would have given it a 4/10. This first listen happened to be via the album listening party livestream. Relistening to this was hard. The vocals are very annoying and ear-grating, especially with the effects applied to them. The lyrics of the majority of the songs just involves Kanye and ... read more
This is an incredibly impressive EP considering the age of the artist and how early they are in their career. It's brimming with great ideas, and gives off strong early Jack Stauber vibes. However, the main issue here is the production, which definitely needs work. However, this EP does show promising signs for the future of November Suite's career.

Rusty Cage's magnum opus. This is a really good folk-pop song about a homeless and working class revolution against those who have wronged them. The song calls these people hollow, essentially eaten out from the inside by poverty. The end of the song stipulates that such a revolution will not happen, however, until these people truly "cave in." I like this song.
Another marked improvement for Rusty on the quality front. When this album hits, it really does hit. From the catchy, pop-folk "The Grave" to the absolutely heartbreaking "The Final Voyage of the Wailer's Essex," Rusty has really mastered the art of crafting a good folk song on this album. It's not perfect, though. This album is less cohesive than previous Rusty works, and feels more like a collection of singles that have been thrown into a bag. There are also definitely ... read more
Just as good as the first game's OST, with possibly the greatest final level track in videogame history, "Bowser's Galaxy Generator." Super Mario Galaxy 2 is also, like, the greatest videogame of all time, so I'd also just recommend going and playing it if you want to experience the OST.
This is one of the greatest videogame soundtracks of all time, without a doubt. Super Mario Galaxy was the first videogame that I ever played, so these pieces still hold a very special place in my heart. It is pretty much impossible to hear a piece like Gusty Garden Galaxy and not be taken aback by the sheer beauty of it. In fact, don't just listen to the soundtrack, go play the game!
Rusty gets knocked up another notch in quality here. The only problem is that this 8-track album has a whopping TWO songs about cancel culture. 25% of the album. That said, The Lives of Flies and Adipocere are legitimately excellent and help carry this album to a decent score. The rest of the album is just plain, good Rusty-style folk music. The improved production and lyrics here only help.
Best Tracks: The Lives of Flies, Adipocere
Worst Tracks: Bone to Pick, What They Said, Ain't the Man
This is a significant step up from Rusty Cage's previous album by far. Not all the songs here are great (Spare a Dime), but the ones that are great truly earn that classification. Requiem of the Crazies is legitimately a 10/10 song and an absolute masterpiece. Besides that one song, though, I wouldn't really call this record a masterpiece or anything. It's carried by one really good song, but is still a good folk album besides it. I would recommend a listen if you enjoy folk music, but it ... read more
Rusty Cage's debut album is highly flawed, but still decent. It's easy to see that he had skill from this early on, but poor lyrics and production value drive this album down. There is still some good stuff here, with the atheist theme song, "Gospel," being the best track on here. Some of the tracks, however, such as "I Wish I Had a Wish" are both poorly written and poorly produced. Other songs, such as "Poor Narrator" are catchy enough to excuse some of the ... read more
An incredibly catchy collection of short songs by Jack Stauber for his Adult Swim miniseries of the same name. These are legitimately some of Jack’s most catchy tunes, which makes it somewhat of a shame that they’re so short. Still very good though. I’d recommend just going and watching Shop: A Pop Opera on YouTube if you want to experience these songs, since they only stand so much on their own.
