Track 6 is fire enough to rate this above 60 but I need to listen to the whole thing first.
What a treasure trove of samples! And then you'd guess the songs themselves are fine but not great, but they're incredible in their own right.
The best medicine show installment in my opinion. Goes to show that Madlib is the godfather of lo-fi hip-hop, among other things.
Now or Never is a soulful explosion of sound I will never not like. That song made the deluxe for me pretty much.
The poor reception is not suprising at all considering that he willingly collaborated with Doug Walker. Corey’s sense of quality has gone completely off the rails.
