Well here i go with this intimidating af album that i only chose to listen to because i saw the cover being isabelle adjani in possession (1981) a year ago, and it took me forever to actually get to listening to it.

“The Dance of the Moon and the Sun” starts off distant, lonely, and depressing. It’s filled with slow droning ambience that really exhausts you. There is a folk presence in every song, which i liked a lot, the sound as the album progresses becomes more melancholic and bittersweet. On his first album, Leonard Cohen writes some of the warmest, most well-written songs that are in my opinion perfect for the spring/summertime. His voice, soft, as he recites his wonderful poetry that tells such interesting stories as the very pretty production follows him. Truly a gem of its time and of all time as well
