Uh, SM really couldn’t help themselves going all the way with the Avengers-styled concept, huh? Well, I won’t be able to help myself from trying to completely shit on this either.

It’s not terrible, but I still consider it a pretty big let down.

All of these tracks presented are trite, overproduced electronic K-Pop with added “cinematic” flair that don’t really help make these songs any better. I’m conflicted on Jopping as a single, mainly because I ... read more

So, I happened to stumble upon Akon’s new album on my recommended music list earlier tonight. I had absolutely no idea that he was making any new music...but apparently he’s releasing THREE ALBUMS in the span of THREE WEEKS?!?!! Jesus, that’s Kanye levels of productivity right there. What’s even more surprising is that they’re all going to be different genres: Latin, Afrobeat, and Hip-hop/R&B respectively.

However, what took me aback about “El ... read more

Might write more about this album at a later date, but I feel like I'm still digesting this.

Not nearly as good as Atrocity Exhibition, but this was still a very pleasant, engaging listen.

I don't really understand why there are ratings under 60 on this one, were y'all really expecting a grand artistic statement after the singles we got? This sounds a lot like Danny just making music for fun.

An absolute, undeniable classic. One of, if not the best, live albums ever recorded. The live setting amplifies what were already great songs from Buena Vista's eponymous debut a whole 'nother stratospheric level. This is the sound of rich Cuban culture undressing the listeners' expectations tenfold and throwing them straight into the heart of Havana. I cannot throw enough praise at this gem. If you've never listened to it, please give it a spin.

Just a fun ass album. Bad Bunny and J Balvin both had more ambitious and arguably more impressive debut records than this collab album, but considering their stardom, the chemistry they have here is both surprising and super engrossing. As soon as you step into their OASIS, you're in for a ride of astounding consistency and great summer vibes. Nothing groundbreaking, but this has been my go-to for reggaeton during the latter half of 2019.

Also might add my Soundcloud if I end up with a decent following. It's been a while since I added anything noteworthy on there though.

Hi everyone! Although I'm not new to the site, I am new to reviewing! I've been checking out other people's reviews since 2017 and decided it was about time I wrote some too! While I'll mainly be using this platform to keep track of all the music I listen to, I will try to consistently post one long review per week. I put a lot of effort into these, so if you could give them a read and give me feedback, I would really appreciate it. Looking forward to being a true member of the AOTY community!
Finally felt the need to express my opinion, lol.

I'll try to do one long review per week, support is much appreciated! :D
