This is some very uncompromising noise rock. Hypnotic and groovy, this band knows to work together in creating something transcendent. Some may consider the final track, Y Toros, to be excessive filler, but to me it’s a highlight, and I like to put it on repeat. Goat Lips is a great opener and Nurser is the band’s magnum opus. It’s a shame they couldn’t replicate the same magic on their later albums.

A strong debut for sure, but I’m a bit disappointed that many people will only listen to this without checking out King Crimson’s other albums. Lark’s, Starless, Red and Discipline are all better in my opinion, but this is still in the top 5.

The most punk punk album to ever exist, and the logical end point for the genre. A triple length collage of poorly produced, unrestrained riffs and rhythms that make the Ramones appear like virtuosos. If this sounds like the worse thing ever to you, then steer far away from this album because you get what you except. To me however, this is a pure flurry of expression.
