The fuck you mean 59/100 this shit fucks.
I am lucky enough to have this on vinyl which to my knowledge is one of the only ways of listening to this EP but let me tell you it sounds fucking fantastic. Everything about this EP is amazing from the guitar work from Zakk to the crushing drums of Randy Castillo. This EP also has maybe the best version of War Pigs I have ever heard.
Amazing live album that truly showcases how good of a guitarist Randy Rhoads really was. I think that Ozzy was in his prime in terms of vocals here as well.
Ozzy's solo music has probably been the most important music in my life for basically shaping who I am as a musician and I will love his music forever. R.I.P my goat.
My second favorite Opeth album. This one took a little longer for me to fully appreciate than the others but when it finally hit it really hit.
First of all the production on this album is utterly sublime as it always is with Opeth's music. There is so much going on in terms of layering but it never feels cluttered. Because Opeth use lots of big open chords and tritones it is very easy for them to clash with each other but they never do which is seriously impressive.
One thing I have ... read more
The best pop act for a VERY long time.
Second Sleep was probably the best song of 2025
Mythical Youtube shorts pull. This wasn't from one of those stupid guess who our drummer is videos but rather a video of the guitarists just sitting down and playing their song.
This is an absolutely fantastic project and I am so happy I happened to come across it at random. The level of musicianship on here is honestly insane. It defies human ability how Sam is able to sing and play this stuff at the same time. Like dude halfway through Sonata in C# she is straight up two handed tapping ... read more
A true gem of the grunge era. Created by the remaining members of Mother Love Bone as a tribute to their late singer Andy Wood, Temple Of The Dog serves as a fantastic goodbye to him and a bridge into their next endeavours which would be Pearl Jam and Soundgarden.
It took a while for me to actually give this album a chance but man this is so amazing and has some of the best songs of the whole era. Like dude how is Say Hello 2 Heaven so damn good.
I am not going to say much else because this ... read more
What a fucking performance man wow. Annie once again proves why she is one of my GOATS and honestly some of the versions of these songs are better than the originals.
This is honestly one of the best live albums I have ever heard so please go and listen to it. Trust me you will not regret it.
Hot take but I think that this is better than Toxicity. The main issue that I had with Toxicity is how it coudn't decide whether it wanted to be serious or not. Either is fine but i felt like it was trying to do both but with this album it does not feel serious in the slightest apart from maybe the last song.
Overall I think that the tracks are slightly more consistent than Toxicity because there were a couple of songs on there I didn't really like but I love every song on this album. ... read more
Not as good as the P5 soundtrack but it is damn close. This once again proves that Shoji Meguro is on a different level from the rest of us becuase holy shit how does he keep doing this. The Persona series is probably the series with the strongest music in gaming.
This is the EP that started one of the best supergroups I have ever heard. As I said in my review of The Record I think that most supergroups are lacking quality despite the amount of talent that makes them up but this is an exception. These three just have something that allows them to take each of their individual strengths and combine them into something beautiful.
Lots of people think that this is a stronger project than The Record. I personally prefer The Record but this EP does a ... read more
They can't keep getting away with this holy fuck. Knocked Loose may be the best metal band of the last 15 years because they actually never miss.
I am so sorry I really am.
lets start with what I do like. The riffs are sick, the production is good, Chester is fantastic as always and One Step closer gives me chills every time.
Now lets get to what I don't like. I think that the rapping on here erases any ounce of seriousness that this album tries to create. It feels so out of place and honestly just feels like parody most of the time and prevents me from really enjoying this album which sucks because I wanted to love this because of ... read more
This is actually so good. I was already a big fan of this band before hearing this album but this was a lot better than I thought it was gonna be. Kelly Jones once again proves himself to be a fantastic songwriter and if there is one thing he is really good at it is being able to make so much out of so little. All of the songs on here are quite basic when it comes to chords and structure but they are all so effective and memorable. Kelly's vocal fry isn't for everyone but I really ... read more
I was not expecting this to be anywhere near as good as it is. The Black Crowes are a band that I have liked for quite a few years now but only really knew their first album up until now and holy shit what a follow up this is. It takes everything from the first album and makes it better in pretty much every way. The vocals are better, the production is better and the songs are better for the most part.
All of the songs on here have such a great vibe and captures the southern American rock ... read more
It's alright I guess but it's just not really my thing unfortunately. I only really listened to this because I felt like I had to as a music nerd.
As I've said in previous reviews I am not really a rap/ hip hop person but I do love when songs in those styles have really good and catchy hooks and this album has lots of those.
I didn't really follow the concept at all but I don't really think that I would have got anything more out of the album if I was following along. ... read more
Perhaps the greatest and one of the most influential metal albums of all time. Not really sure what I can say about this that hasn't already been said. The production is flawless especially considering that this alubm came out is 1986, every song is amazing in it's own way and the musicianship on here is nothing short of amazing. Yes even Lars.
This album has been one of the most impactful in my life and was a huge part of my childhood. I may have grown a little numb to some of the ... read more
It's alright I guess. There is nothing inherently wrong with it but I just don't care for it much. The vocal performance is nothing short of amazing but that is cancelled out by some of the lacking instrumentals. This is mostly a problem in the second half of the album though. The first half I actually enjoy quite a bit but oh my god the second half is so boring.
Feel free to hate me as much as you like but that is just how I feel about this album. It is cool that it exists but I am ... read more
I said everything I have to say about this in my original P5 ost review because I am grouping them both together as one thing.
What I will say though is if you haven't played this game then please do because I think this is the best game I have ever played and I think it is well worth your time.
Actually peak. Mindblowing soundtrack for an even more mindblowing game. This is why I have not reviewed anything in over 3 weeks because I have been playing this game.
I'm not really a jazz guy but fuck man this is actually so good and hearing this soundtrack made kinda want to explore both more jazz and Japanese music because I think I am missing out.
It is also worth mentioning that I am grouping this and the P5R soundtrack as one thing not that it really matters because they are both ... read more
Ladies and Gentlemen it is finally here. We finally have an official of verson of all 9 parts together creating what I think can now be called the greatest song ever created by man. It is 25 and a half minutes of pure musical perfection.
