Absolutely love the opening song. An insane 7 minute flurry of jazz and progressive rock. After that I was pretty disappointed with how indifferent I am to the rest of the album. Hopefully I’ll like other stuff by King Crimson more than this
One of those albums your dad probably played over and over again but then you grow up and realize why. Explosive and beautiful. Heartland rock at it’s finest.
I was hoping that the recent beef would motivate Drake to make better music similar to what he did on Nothing Was The Same which I still think is his best work but NOPE. This was incredibly boring next to Honestly Nevermind as his worst album. Couple of decent songs here and there but like almost every Drake album it’s too long, the beats are boring, the lyricism is boring, and the melodies are boring.
“ I make music that electrify them, you make music that pacify them.”
The title track is pretty amazing, probably the best song they ever made, one of the best rock songs of the 70’s, iconic guitar solo. Not much else besides that.
This is the best Eagles album so far because it has not one but TWO actually great songs unlike the standard one great song followed by mid.
Yeah I'm sorry I'm not cool enough to like this. Maybe Avant-Garde shit will click with me someday. It just sounds like a bunch of people tuning their instruments for 80 minutes.
Bad but it at least sounds different than the rest of Ringo’s discography and that’s all I can ask for at this point. My biggest issue with Ringo’s discography is that every album from the 21st century is basically the same as the last one, so at least this one stands out. Keep doing what you do Ringo. Peace and Love ✌️❤️
Kind of felt like I was on hold for a call for 90 minutes but it was a peaceful 90 minutes.
I don’t know how you can listen to this and not think this man is the greatest person to ever play guitar.
Far from perfect but a good send off for this band. Glad this exists.
Dennis Wilson should be able to come back to life and kill Mike Love and John Stamos for what they did to Forever.
I used to not like Kokomo but after listening to the past 3 albums, I now see that even though it’s not a great song, it’s by far the best song they ever made in the 80’s.
