Lil Mabu - YOUNG GENIUS

Well. I went into this thinking I would at least ironically like this album but nah. This shit i just corny, not really that funny. Some songs I bopped my head to but most of these songs are insufferable and basic. Whenever there was a feature on this album it always washed mabu too, and also yeah when the beat was good it washes mabu also. Just honestly not much redeeming qualities, no reason to listen to this.

Some of the beats and the flows are decent, but yeah this is kind of annoying. In some songs he sounds like he's getting back shots while rapping, not only that he never changes that kind rapping up, repetitive as shit. It doesn't sound like the worst thing ever but you really just feel empty listening to most of the songs on this thing, just listen to yeat or smth. Airbnb is a banger tho.

Rammstein - Mutter

It really isn't my cup of tea but I can respect the unique drums, synthesizers, and vocals that aren't normally on metal albums. I can also respect quite a few of the tracks in the first half, being some pretty legendary metal songs. Though the second half I don't really care for all that much. Still, respect the obvious work that was put into this thing so I'll give it an 80.

Flagman - Tastes Incredible

Show nu metal hating gatekeepers this album and they'll shit their pants. But yeah this one of the more heavy albums I have listened to, straight aggressiveness mixed with a shit ton of quirks to keep it interesting. This band is like if you got system of a down, primus, and Korn morphed all their good qualities into one band. This album is just one of the most fun music projects I've ever heard and I advise any nu metal fans, heck even any metal fan to give this a try. The hooks are ... read more

Very abrasive and raw. The noisy chaotic bits of this album are my personal favorite parts, especially witching hour, that track is very chaotic. But even though the chaotic bits are really good, it does fall flat a little bit when it tries to go a bit slower, I think personally they should have when all out with the chaos. (yes i used the word "chaos" many times in this review, not any of them were related at all to the film "lord of chaos")

Black Sabbath - Paranoid

Everybody knows the ear worms of this album are amazing. But yeah the other parts of this album are just pretty good, nothing ground breaking. It's just that the highlights are so high that I can't help but give it a 90.

King Crimson - In the Court of the Crimson King

For a debut album, this is pretty damn good. The high lights of this album really are fantastic though the parts that aren't highlights (theres a lot of those) are just decent. But for a debut album I have nothing wrong with that, having really good moments on a mostly decent album is a very good sign of potential amazing albums in the future. The thing i don't like though... EVERYBODY says that this is one of the best albums in the world when really this literally just feels like ... read more

Okay, so. I listened to this album the other day and rated it a 65, safe to say I changed my mind. You can rally tell how much thought was put into everyone of these songs. Even though I don't entirely know the philosophical meaning of each track, I really fuck with the mysterios vibe that goes on through the entire album. This album is really weird and you really need to think about it to enjoy it, so I relistened to this thing and yeah, after paying more attention I can say that this is ... read more

Every single instrument, noise, ambience, soundwave in general just found a way to sound beautiful, without it ever stopping throughout this entire 1 hour and 27 minute project with only 4 songs mind you. This is one of the most impressive albums I have ever listened to, just truly felt like their was love put into each millisecond into this album. If I was on my death bed and I could wish for one more album to listen to it would be this, truly with how much love this album show for the craft ... read more

Wow, just wow. Never in my life have I encountered such composition, such concept, such diversity, such vibe, such vocals. I am mad that this is only rated an 89 out of 100, this should be 100 on the dot personally. Just the perfect balance of soft rock and death metal, the soft rock segments building up the death metal parts to be so much more impactful than they already are. This here album stands as the greatest album I have ever listened to as of 2026, June 2nd. Masterpiece.

Death - The Sound of Perseverance

This right here is the greatest metal album I have ever feasted my ears upon. The overall laborious, fiery, gloomy, sweaty feel of this album is like no other. The riffs are some of the best I have ever heard, the solos are some of the best I've ever heard, the drums are some of the best I've ever heard, the bass is some of the best I've ever heard, and the vocals are some of the best I've ever heard. This is such a strong final album and I couldn't help but get ... read more

Metallica - Ride the Lightning

Wow. The first ever Metallica album I have heard was master of puppets, which I liked but it wasn't the best thing I've ever heard, and since mop is considered their best album I wasn't expecting THAT much from this album, but this is one my favorite albums I have ever listened to. That's right, better than mop imo. Just the energy and vibe of this thing is so damn strong, energy is just through the roof, James Hetfields vocals are absolutely top notch on this album, really ... read more

Gojira - From Mars to Sirius

This entire thing really feels so deep, dark, mysterious, and also magical. Christian Andreu did an amazing job with the guitar, each riff feeling like you're carrying a boulder on your back while meditating. Mario Duplantier had some of the most hard hitting drums I've ever heard from a metal album. Jean Labadie executed his bass riffs really well when needed. And finally, Joe Duplantier had some of the most powerful vocals i have ever heard, beautiful singing voice, and a grungy, ... read more

Napalm Death - Scum

The album that started it all. I have always adored grindcore and I have mad respect for this album for inventing it. With that being said I will admit that the vocals can sometime be a bit boring and out of place, and some songs i feel like were not needed and really just made the album a bit bloated. Though this album is really good when it wants to be, instincts of survival and siege of power being my favorites. The guitar riffs and solos on this album are extreme good, the drums aren't ... read more

despite It's amazing stand outs (hammer smashed face, i cum blood, and necropedophile) this entire album is kind of boring and samey though out the thing, which is NOT something you want from a metal album. The guitar shines sometimes with some pretty good riffs and occasionally good solos, the drums are nothing special though and don't get me started on the vocals... Chris Barnes has NO range, the entire album he sounds like the cookie monster and never diversifies, it's all ... read more

The birth of one of the most extreme sub genres of metal ever, a strong debut of this sound too. Guitars hit hard, especially when they layer multiple different types of guitar playing, drums are being abused, and the vocals, while maybe not as impressive as later goregrind vocalists like Hans Smits from last days of humanity but still, You could tell Jeff Walker was giving it his all, puting every ounce of energy into every growl. This really is one of the heaviest things i have ever listened ... read more

Metallica - Master of Puppets

Some absolutely legendary metal songs such as master of puppets, the things that should be, disposable heroes, and damage inc. Along with some not as quite great but still good metal songs throughout. Nothing you can really go wrong with this album, you're guaranteed a good time with every listen.

100

Almost every single one of these songs I would consider a 10/10. The aggressiveness of this album is unmatched, having some of the best protest songs of all time, with how well these messages hold up today too makes it even better.

System of a Down - Toxicity

With how consistent this album is when making iconic, unforgettable, energetic, overall just amazing songs, it's hard not to give it a 100. Sure it's goofy, but this is probably the only possible way you could execute such an ambition so greatly.

Death - Symbolic

Very enjoyable experience. It isn't QUITE my style of metal, while yes this thing is heavy, it feels more like a goosebumps episode than a horror movie. Though I think that makes it a amazing introduction to death metal, the vibes of some of the songs are really good but i feel like in a few of a tracks they didn't really try to diversify all that much, and some of the instrumental switches were quite choppy. By far my favorite part about this album are the guitar riffs and solos, the ... read more
