Not reinventing the wheel but I really liked this and thought it was more consistently fun and well-executed than her last album, which I liked but was just more hit or miss. Still think she has the potential to make a really great pop album in the future, but to me this feels like a step in the right direction. Nothing here is as good as “Juno” though!
Starts really well, but becomes a mixed bag in the middle. Not quite an album worth a 6 year wait, but from where his last release was, this is a notable step up quality wise.
There’s some truly great stuff here, and this starts well and definitely ends well, but the middle of this album is just pretty underwhelming and doesn’t really build on the solid and promising foundation that the beginning and end sets up. A step down for JID, but still a lot to appreciate here. “For Keeps” is especially great.
Using this for the album spot in my yearly ranking list because the lack of album cover is killing me!!!! Great song too!!!
I like this a lot and I’m glad Hayley Williams has put out another body of work but like…girl just make this an album!!!! Making this 17 individual singles is somehow the most pretentious and least pretentious thing ever lol. Also the lack of an album cover is gonna drive me nuts!!!!!!
Thought this was a lot of fun and really enjoyed it. Great pop album. Go lesbians!
Some of Yeat’s best produced and most refined music yet, I just wish it was longer and approached as a more realized project (an 11 song EP is ridiculous!)
Feels like a slight regression/stagnation artistically from her EP and other pre-album singles (both in terms of songwriting and even just with the length/aesthetic of the album, feeling almost like it’s trying to capture a bit of the Queef Jerky vibe at times), and this is just not quite the “debut album” that I was hoping this could be. However, the music here is still great and Dev’s talents and potential definitely come through over some great production (especially ... read more
Quadeca is unreal man. The way he’s able to blend genres and make everything cohesive and work together as a whole is insane. Having Monday and Thundrrr on the same album is ridiculous but he makes it work!!!
The album movie was also visually stunning. Interested to see how this plays as just music without that visual element on a second listen.
Jim Legxacy is the future. “Father” and “Stick” were outstanding singles, and this project shows that he has SO much range and promise as an artist. Loved this.
Mixing so unprofessional I went to check if he released this independently and was no longer on a major label anymore lmao
It’s Travis so this is still a good listen with some really solid highlights, but there was clearly not that much effort put in here. A lot of this feels like throwaways from like 2016. Expected more on the production front too.
THIS IS CULTURALLY INAPPROPRIATE!!!!
“Walking with my dawg, I am Legend” 🔥😤
