My best friend gave this album a perfect score, and he is not as much of a rap fan as I am. Going into this, I had heard one other Jay album (4:44) so I was excited to listen to this but ngl I was expecting to enjoy this but not be jaw-dropped and impressed.

I was wrong. This is super impressive and incredible. Mojo puts it perfectly, this truly is a magnificent record.

A hilarious record, but it loses a lot of charm about halfway through. American tterroristt is absolutely amazing but then after that, every song just feels worse than the last. Release AT as a single and it is such an easy 100.

EDIT: 53->80 i was hating too hard. But american tterroristt is still like a top 10 song of all time

Besides the repetitive and weaker second half of the last song, this album is absolutely flawless. I love it so much and this is just a treat. If it was just the first three songs, easy 100, and an easy contender for the greatest album I may have ever heard.

This starts my large influx of reviews as I listened to plenty of albums on the way home from Japan. I started out with Endtroducing, and honestly? I felt disappointed.

An 89 user score in my opinion, is extremely high. Way too high. This album is pretty good but I wouldn't call it great or extraordinary. I definitely will revisit this in the future but as of right now, this is how I feel.

As I currently sit on the bus ready to leave Japan and fly back to the United States, I have just finished listening to another Ichiko Aoba project. And, as expected, it's really fucking good.

i'm so tired on a bus rn and i already fell asleep (and restarted/rewinded) like 10 times during this album so before i embarrass myself lemme say that this was really good

This is art pop. This is ambient pop. This is Bjork, and this is absolutely incredible. I wasn't a huge fan of Heirloom but I loved every other song. My mind is blown and this is insanely good.

Miles Davis' In A Silent Way is the best piece of jazz I have ever heard. I haven't heard every single jazz project on Earth and I never will. However, this album conveyed emotion in a way that I had never heard conveyed in jazz before. Immediately, the album cover intrigued me. I am currently attempting to find some of the greatest music to ever come out of Japan. I saw this album on spotify but was not expecting to hear the sample for IJKACNIH by JPEGMAFIA to be the first song. I immediately got haunted in a way.
