It didn't hit me as hard as kamisori otome, but this is still a good folk record. Again, I can't wait to listen to more Ichiko Aoba. I've heard that 0 is a great album so I am very excited
I don't know what exactly it is about this album that brought me to tears. Perhaps Ichiko Aoba's beautiful vocals woven with the minor guitar chords and great playing makes me feel something. But no matter what, this album made me feel something.
Is it sadness? Is it hope? Whatever it is, this album is great. I can see myself returning to this. I want to listen to more music in Japanese as I leave to go there in a bit over a week. I can't wait to listen to more of Aoba's work because this is ... read more
I will die by this take. This song has an incredible production, an incredible verse, incredible lyrics (somewhat) and is just a great song.
But can we talk about the political and economic state of the world right now?
darling dddarling dar dar dar dadaling
I love this song. One of the greatest hardcore hip hop songs of the 2010s, genuinely.
The first half of this album is godly. The second half of this album is good. The bonus tracks are pretty alright. In total, a good album, but it isn't anything that's genre-changing or insane. It is quite good though
Except for that first half. Genuinely I think the first 7 songs are a 10/10 on their own.
Death is a concept not understood by many. For many, death is a word, a concept, something that we don't need to worry about. Death is not as far as people think. It constantly follows everyone around. Death watches your every move. Death sees everything you do. Death is never ending, but never beginning. Death doesn't exist but is the only thing on Earth that is inevitable. At some point in time, death will hit all of us.
Until that time comes, we need to be reminded of the death ... read more
Ok this is my last classic single for the day. No Surprises is a haunting track that is just very very veryyyyy good. Flawless even.
AllMusic sucks
Yeah this song is so good. Brad put it best, probably the easiest 10 of all time
AllMusic tripping
I should make a whole list about all of the terrible allmusic takes because
what the actual fuck
Yeahhhhhhhh
I mean cmon of course I was gonna rate this properly. Tyler is one of my favorite artists of all time. I do hate that in the past year I've sorta slowly stopped listening as much but if we get the estate sale and a full album I will be back to my tyler D-Riding 100%
ESPECIALLY IF THE ALBUM(s) SOUND LIKE THIS
Hmmmmmm.... Well I'm sorry in advance
This record makes little sense to me personally as to why it is rated so high. I love the idea but there is poor execution. Some of the vocals I just don't like and overall I don't know how to describe this but it just seemed good. Not great by any means
also funny banana lol
Ok ok so I never thought today I'd be writing a conspiracy theory on a Burger King EP BUT here is my theory.
The person behind this entire project and marketing is Trippie Redd. In addition to that, expect a BK album soon.
In 2020, Trippie Redd released an EP entitled "Spooky Sounds". This EP has exactly 6 songs, each a minute long, consisting of small soundbites that repeat. The names of the songs are based on the sounds made in the song. It is also widely regarded as one of the ... read more
Found this because smokedope2016 is on it and i love his music so hopefully this would be something like it
In some ways it is. It's a cloud rap project with hard hitting beats and crazy tags throughout. Reminds me a lot of Joeyy.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work, and the heavy scottish accent is muddying up a lot of what he is saying. Like I do not understand, and when I do, it's subpar.
Boring project but it is what it is.
A step back from 1000 gecs in the terms of abrasiveness but a huge step forward in quality (in my opinion)
It's a fun record and I enjoy it a lot. I am surprised I liked it but it didn't blow me away. I thought it was good but not amazing
Danny Brown and Peggy are two my favorite rappers, hell even artists, of all time. So I'm gonna write a long review
The first experience with this album (which I just finished) was a great. So many left-turns and weird beats and some lyrics that left my jaw dropped (mostly from Peggy as I couldn't understand a lot of Danny a lot).
I WILL ADD HERE--EDIT: 93->95 it already went up for me it's been 5 min since I wrote this lmao
EDIT 2: 95->97 THIS IS SO GOOD. IGNORE MY TAKES ON KINGDOM ... read more
Listened to a short Danny Brown Collab Tape to prepare for tonight's Danny Brown Collab Tape that will keep me up all night
I wasn't vibing at first but this is really something. The best tracks on this album are absolutely incredible while it can be somewhat boring at times. People saying this is one of the "most depressing albums of all time" are kinda stretching it.
