I think the worst thing about this album is the production. Obviously it's overdramatic and corny, but the production is extremely basic and sounds like a movie trailer, and that movie is woke as fuck

I feel so stupid for not listening to this when it came out. This whole was amazing to listen to while being sick. I haven't listened to Julien Baker's solo stuff, but she was great on this record. Lucy and Phoebe were, as expected, amazing, and the lyrics and instrumentation were gorgeous and moving. Another favorite album of mine this year

This album was so smooth. The production was heavenly and lush, and Daniel was at his best on this record. The features didn't really add anything to the album, but that doesn't really matter. It's just a catchy and chill record overall

There's nothing terrible on here, but I was so bored by the end

For my first Daniel Caesar album, I was pleased listening to this. Nothing really surprised me, but it was a very nice listen. Some great production and vocal performances from Daniel. Also, congratulations on coming out as homiesexual :)

This was one of the best times I have had listening to an album. It's fun, colorful, strange, weird, catchy, and hard, all at the same time, which is represented in the album cover. I haven't listened to their previous album, but I'm sure that this album was out of their comfort zone. It takes risks that most bands will never take. This album has nothing to offer, other than a snooze fest. There is obviously a Björk influence, but she can't even create an album that sounds like it's full of life. The whole album is predictable and generic. I'm sure Melanie meant well and wanted to do something different in her career, but this is not it.

I knew this was going to be good as soon as I saw the album cover. This album felt so lush and colorful, like this album cover. But under the catchy production are dark lyrics, ranging from rejection from society and regret to self hatred and reminiscing about the past. The end result is a creative album that combines upbeat production and dark subject matter to create an album that is magical and surreal. One of the most unique albums of the 2010s

Decided to check this out first before listening to Get To Heaven. And yeah, this album has me hyped. It's so catchy and fun to listen to. Also, I love the singer's voice. It really helps make the songs more memorable and infectious.
