Man screaming in agony and pain with a black metal track in the background for seventeen minutes.
This EP is clinically insane.

I'm sorry, but when I hear Do I Wanna Know? or Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High? I immediately think of Samsung phone and data provider commercials.
Seriously one of the most overrated pop rock albums ever. There is nothing interesting going on here. I'm trying really hard to think of the positives of this album, and I really can't think of anything. The worst part is that I can't think of any negatives either. It's that bland. I was really bored.
Maybe this album isn't for ... read more
Don't expect much from this album. Green Day obviously aren't going to make a groundbreaking album like they would in the 90s, but it's actually pretty solid. There isn't anything to get excited for, though; it's just another Green Day record, but I found some enjoyment out of it.

Mudvayne's debut studio album L.D. 50 is one of the better nu metal albums in a subgenre full of... questionable releases.
Nu metal is an interesting genre. For one, you have some genuine trash, such as Limp Bizkit, Dope, and... ugh... Coal Chamber (disgusting). However there is some good stuff, and we're not just talking Korn, early Slipknot, and System of A Down, we're also talking about Snot, Static-X, and of course, Mudvayne, the subject for today's review.
This is their debut studio ... read more

Extremely consistent overall, Megadeth has some of the best musicianship in all of thrash metal. Dave Mustaine, while not the greatest vocalist, has a ton of charisma in his voice that allows him to make his vocals more tolerable. This is thrash metal at its best.

This is a banger, but what was the outro about?
Come on, guys, this is just stupid. This is literally just Korn but with a more obnoxious vocalist.
The worse part is that I actually used to unironically enjoy this song. Lord forgive me, for I have sinned.

Pre-Review: The album cover looks like something out of a cutscene from Fallout 1 or something lmfao
Review:
I'm giving all the interludes a 0, because there is literally no reason for this to have an interlude for every single song.
Why am I checking this project out? Well I dunno. I just saw that Ivan Moody did vocals for this album and my monkey instincts immediately went "Six Knuckle Bitch Slap vocalist??? Lemme listen"
I could go on about Five Finger Death Punch all day, but ... read more
If "Pablo Honey" was where Radiohead was getting to know themselves, then "The Bends" is a more developed idea for the members about the band's identity and what they are known for.
"The Bends" is a major improvement over the lackluster debut "Pablo Honey". The album is more outgoing than the debut in almost every aspect while still maintaining a similar sound. So basically, this is Pablo Honey but better, and I'm all here for it. It flows better than ... read more
If I was around in 1993 and you told me that Radiohead would go on to release some of the most critically acclaimed albums of the 90s after Pablo Honey, I would not believe you. This album, while not terrible, is really bland and decent at best. Most of the tracks blend (bend) into each other, so really you're just forgetting about 75% of it right after your first listen.
If Creep was never released as a single, then I would've forgotten about it too. Again, this thing blends (bends) the ... read more
Snot creates some really fun nu metal for the time, incorporating that more funky side of it. Unfortunately, lead vocalist Lynn Strait passed away a year after this album had released, and I think he had carried the album with his vocals. Rest in peace bro.
An underground, hidden gem in nu metal. If not for the unfortunate circumstances, this band would've had a promising future ahead of them for sure.

I thought that this would be an appropriate album to be my 100th rating. After all, it is the highest rated album by users on AOTY of all time.
...But is it the greatest album of all time? Yeah probably. This ain't even just an album, this is a goddamn masterpiece of art, a staple of hip hop music, culture, the world, everything.
It was a very fun and enthralling listen. This is probably the greatest album of all time, by a long shot. This will be remembered for a long long time, and I ... read more
My mom brought me this as a gift on vinyl. I love my mom, I'll gladly keep this record, as I am a huge Avenged Sevenfold fan and love some of their projects such as Waking The Fallen (2003), their self titled (2007), and the new Life Is But A Dream (2023), but this album has flaws.
As so many people have said, it's like if Metallica and Avenged Sevenfold had a baby. I mean this in a bad way because it is technically Avenged Sevenfold's music, however, at times it reminds me a lot of ... read more
