I mean it's either this or the electric motor, but I think this band is the pinnacle of British engineering
This album embodies "he walked so we could run" because it sets up Ants From Up There perfectly, but for the first time also manages to be a phenomenal outing from this band. It's amazing you can be this consistent with your first two albums. If I had one minor complaint it's that it just feels like I'm being talked to for the album, but it doesn't bother me much, only ... read more

Funny how this album out of every one managed to emerge out of Set it Off's discog of being actually pretty good overall for me and one of their best. It's edgy, and sometimes tries WAY too hard, I'll admit, but I dunno it still kinda slaps. It's basic emo angst, but it sounds good and just ... read more
I hate how often my rating is very similar to the album's overall rating, I need some outrageously hot takes to stir up the comments
Overall, SOUR is a mixed bag, with some highlights like good 4 u or brutal, but can have some pretty bad songs that suffer from being really boring because pop is not a genre that can consistently deliver 10+ songs in each album since the genre is just a few songs blowing up to make the artist so popular. 1 step forward is so boring and easily Olivia's worst ... read more
I annoyed the shit out of my friends after listening to this by just randomly saying "can we get much higher" for literally no reason. I'm sorry to my friends, but it was funny to me.
I go from one album that everything has already been said about it to another album where I have nothing to say about it. And there's only a 1 point difference between both of them, too! It's more relistenable than OK Computer though, I'll give it that.
Anyways, this album is such a fun listen. It's ... read more
No, it's not a 100.
I mean, what else needs to be said here that hasn't been said already? I'm not entirely in agreement with it being "one of the best albums to ever exist" but still, just, damn. That's all I have to say. Even if I don't think this is perfect, this album still manages to be fantastic. The cool opener Airbag, the mysterious shit that is Paranoid Android (which can sometimes be TOO weird for me, but it's still a trip of a song and I absolutely love it), the spacey ... read more
I mean if you're not praising this album then idk what to tell you man
Thriller is a classic that represents just why the 80s were such a memorable time, and why that era is so praised to this day. You can look back and say "well there were so many bad stuff in the 80s the good stuff just ended up being memorable" which is true, but that doesn't take away from what did become memorable. Between classics like Beat It, Thriller, Billie Jean, or even some of the lesser popular but still ... read more
Please, guys, stop calling Hayley Williams your "mommy" I've seen this shit and she don't even know you lil bro
It's not often I admit to liking a fair share of emo stuff. A good bunch of Fall Out Boy songs, some Jimmy Eat World songs, etc. But Paramore just seems to be an exception to this. Why? Well because they're actually really good. This album is what really introduced me to Paramore, and I had so much fun with it. Almost this entire album from front to back is hard hitting ... read more
I'd like to thank HIVEMIND for hyping up Often which gave me the idea to relisten to it again to see if it was better than what I gave it. It didn't change my mind, but I'm glad I did it. It made me relisten to Angel as well which brought that one from a 69 to an 87.
This is what shot The Weeknd into popularity, and you can see why. With In the Night and Can't Feel My Face fitting as great pop songs in 2015, Earned It being a great orchestral song for a movie to score up pop points, and The ... read more
To me, I Hate Everything About you just seems like a much more corny version of Over and Over, with the latter just banging a lot more. Idk bout yall but I'm just sayin
If you know about the general consensus towards Post-Grunge, or butt rock, you probably know of Three Days Grace. So, needless to say, their likely best album isn't even all that. That's not to say that it's awful though. I mean, Get Out Alive is a really cool song, Never Too Late is great, and Over and Over slaps, along with ... read more
97 --> 87 Crazy drop but I was definitely overrating this, sure it's still a really fun album and I still really like this album but I think in general i rate tracks higher than they really should be and this album was especially guilty of that.
For whatever reason Love's Train isn't on the track list but that one gets a 93.
Bruno Mars finally decides to fully dive into his inspirations on this record, and with the help of Anderson Paak, he creates EASILY his best album to ... read more
I mean like I still love it but when you compare this thing to The Downward Spiral this is nothing, and that might be why some of these tracks end up being pretty low.
Pretty Hate Machine serves as a very impressive debut for Trent Reznor. I can very clearly tell though that this album seemed like some sort of experiment to see how people would take this VERY raunchy and dirty album to confirm if he could make Downward Spiral after this. Because, like it or not, Downward Spiral as a debut ... read more
I know this is their highest rated album, but this gives me a LITTLE more faith in their discography.
This album can be summarized in two simple words: It slaps. There, that's my review. Seriously though, I don't actually have much to say about it, but the album is consistent, sounds really nice, and has some great bangers on here. Arlandria and Walk are both very fun tracks to listen to, These Days is a very nice track with good lyricism to it. Overall, makes for a very fun album.
Biggest left turn in music history? Of course those damn LIBERALS had to go out and
It's got a couple flaws that just don't fully sit well with me, but yeah this one's still amazing. Truthfully, I can't really say I care a whole lot about this one though. Don't get me wrong, Optimistic, How to Disappear, Idioteque, and Motion Picture Soundtrack are all fantastic songs, and various other ones I still love, but truthfully, I just don't care a whole lot about this album as a whole. Hell I'd say I ... read more
This album has only continuously grown on me ever since my initial listen, when I first got into this band. From a 91, 93, 97, now to my 2nd favorite album ever. Quick thanks to one of my friends for telling me to play The Adults Are Talking when hanging out with them. Wouldn't have gotten into this band without that.
I wasn't too into music when this album came out. I was only like 13 and found myself being stuck listening to mainly FNAF music up until around late 14. But I think I've ... read more
Seeing as this thing is 14 minutes long with 7 songs, I don't think this is going to show EVERYTHING that Simbi's music is going to be like in the future. So I wouldn't say I'm too concerned after seeing this, but I can't really get behind this either. A lot of this just isn't interesting or is too quick to captivate me in any way. Far Away was neat though, and some elements of SOS reminded me of something like Point and Kill or Fear No Man which I enjoyed.
Oh but if it was named OK Angle you guys would give it a 10/10
Now, it's not nearly better than Is this It, Room on Fire, or The New Abnormal, but I didn't expect it to be. I mean if 4/6 of a band's albums were a high 9/10 or even 10/10 then I would be wondering if they sold their soul to the devil. This album is still very consistent for the most part and still a very good listen. Highly underrated. I'll give it this, Machu Picchu, Under Cover of Darkness, Taken for a Fool, and Life Is Simple ... read more
Minus the amount of points to fit this joke for every time Dave Grohl decided to not show any of his songs to Kurt.
I mean come on, you know what it is. It's Nevermind. It's one of those albums where if you haven't heard any song from it I just don't think you can confidently call yourself a "fan of music." It's such a great listen from front to back with classics like Smells Like Teen Spirit, Come As You Are, and Something In the Way, or just great rock songs to listen to like Drain ... read more
I kinda miss when this wasn't my favorite project by The cab and I thought Whisper War was this underrated gem that I thought was like a 93. Oh well, I suppose they put more effort in these tracks which overall did make a more consistent output. Don't quote me on this but I do have like a deep memory in the inner layers of my brain that remembers something about a new album by them coming out 2024. I might be (aka probably am) wrong but if that's the case I'm pretty excited.
