This album just screams that whole romanticisation of the first lockdown, and maybe that’s colouring my perception towards it a little, but this album is great. The 70’s and 80’s influences are mixed perfectly with modern production and Dua’s vocals. Absolute pop perfection, I cannot even begin to describe this song, like it is perfect, that is all.
Completely gonna echo sentiments I’ve read here, this song is my personal choice for best pop song of the 2010’s, and honestly top 5 of songs of all time. Chris’ vocals are something that have always responded to me, his voice is just bliss combined with Charli’s, and the breakdown in French is fucking BEYOND. Perfection.
