Worst #2
There is no way they thought this was good. Please if you are reading this go listen to Balls and My World. I can't breath lmfaoooooooo.
Highest #2
This is something that has been on my list for a long time so finally having a good reason to listen to this is nice. This is what I think of when I think of 80s hiphop. Great production, great flows, great bars. So much to like.
Second album in a series of listening to the highest and lowest user rated (as of listening) hip hop album of each year.
this is unbearable. This might be the most grating shit ever, rivaling Tones and I.
also the lyrics on Little Girls (shocker) are disgusting. He was 21 when he made this.
Starting a series of listening to the highest and lowest user rated (as of listening) hip hop album of each year starting here in 1987.
Move the crab
MMMmmmm, this still fucks.
When it comes to deathcore, while its not a must, if there is black metal elements you will have my attention. This is heavy, good vocals, interesting instrumentals, fantastic drumming and riffs. The breakdowns hit. Really fun record.
Favs: Offering of FIre, The Astral Wake of Time
Skips: Void (if I had to pick something but there isnt really that much of a drop here on any track)
Edit: 75 -> 83
This is the metalcore I have to defend tbh. Was really into this album back in middle school and even though I don't listen to TPIY much anymore I am not changing the score to reflect that.
Was a fun listen back when it came out, hasn't aged the best with me but its still good. This is one that I really wish I had written a review for when I first sat with it.
Thank you @Lambert058 for reviewing this so I had to learn about it. THIS IS SO ASS LMFAOOOO.
I can't even describe this.
Going back, the jump from the KMD projects to this is crazy. I am not saying that this aspect of DOOM is understated necessarily... but he has to be the example of the greatest "rebrand" of all time.
