Since the average score is 99 I might as well round it up to 100. My original score was 98, but I’ve been listening to it a lot and I think it’s worthy of my second 10/10 album alongside the Marshall Mathers LP which is still my favorite all-time album.

This quite honestly and objectively deserves a 10/10. Think of its impact on culture and music. It’s allegedly sold over 100 million copies 38 years after its release. Almost anyone knows at least one of the songs on here.

29 years later, most of it still is fire and it holds up. I like the different approach he took, and I think people don't realize the impact that this song had on hip-hop since it was a new genre at this time. He actually had rap on this album which. seems like it was something that was so taboo back then. There are also so many songs on here that have been sampled. Ill take it.

Yo that first disc on its own is insane. The whole album is full of classics.

Meh. Boring long repetitive.

On the 10 year anniversary, I decided to review it. I don't think I'm ever going to understand why people like this so much, but I'm happy that those people have something to enjoy, I guess. I feel like the rapping is just generally not amazing throughout the whole thing; which is pretty expected from Kanye. Most of the beats just feel bad especially knowing how much better Kanye can do. It started off pretty good but ended pretty terribly. I'm just not impressed.

Bruh the drums on this are way too 80s. Like they sound like they're from the theme song of Home Improvement. Otherwise pretty good, but Speed Demon kinda sucks. Liberian Girl is the most underrated song on here.

Although I have been listening to Miles Davis for years and have a poster of him in my room, I never took the time to listen to a Miles Davis album all the way through until now. I am not disappointed, it really does everything it intends to do. This may sound read from someone who's favorite albums are the Marshall Mathers LP and All Eyez on Me, but it was really nice to sit down, read a book, and listen to this.

Very very consistent album. I liked it, but I wasn't as mind blown as I was when I heard "Songs in the Key of Life".

This album is very fun and happy. It also presents very high quality and level of music. It’s good and it should defiantly have gotten more attention than it did let’s be real. The rapping, singing, and beats are all really good. “So Long” reminds me of a Jack Johnson song which is ironic because he brings up Jack Johnson in the first song. I enjoyed this more than Modern Trash and I am very excited to see the future of his carrier. I want his to collad with Berhana.

I can’t really fuck with all the high pitched shit especially on the opening track. But this really is a historical album for hip-hop and it’s clear why. Nuttin but a G thang is one of the greatest songs ever. I like 2001 more than because there are more songs there that I like. But, this is way more consistent. Dr. Dre really is the goat of hip-hop if you consider NWA, Snoop, 2Pac, Eminem, 50 Cent, and Kendrick Lamar. Dope ass album.

The thing is it tries so hard to be the MMLP, but fails. It was released the same year as the MMLP, but is so much worse. It not terrible though I liked Girls and Nuttin But Music.
