Solid follow up to The War of Art, a bit more experimental on the instrumentation later on in the album, but overall a very good effort from AHC. The more I listen to them I can hear the Faith No More influence.
I feel like no one really talks about how excellent this record is, basically every song keeps you hooked and there's barely a down moment, even at the end with the more depressing title track.
Possibly the greatest heavy guitar tone ever, every song sounds so brutally crushing.
It's close to 5 years since this album came out, and with Ca$ino dropping tomorrow I decided to finally give The Melodic Blue a full listen. Holy fuck am I disappointed. Aside from some of the songs just not making sense sonically, he sounds fucking terrible on most songs. Keem's half ass mumble rapping really makes this a chore to get through.

You're telling me Phil Bozeman is on one of the lowest rated songs?
Listen to this if you like literally any of their songs, The Carrier is a very consistent band that don't stray far away from their sound.
I was personally underwhelmed by some of the songs on disc 29, but overall this is a great album. 100% not his best album, but it definitely deserves a must hear.
How the fuck is any of this Noise Pop? People just be adding whatever genre they feel like...
I lost all respect for anyone involved in this. Fuck Mike Shinoda, RIP Chester Bennington. LP is not LP without Chester, they should've just came up with a different name.
