Pleasantly surprised by how bad I slept on this album. Definitely not something I'll ever WANT to throw on but definitely a respectable effort.

It's amazing how well Rage holds up, and not just because of the instrumentals either. Everything Zach preaches on this album is still a hot topic today.

Astroworld should've been higher, as far as modern classics go, this is one of the first albums to pop in my head. The flow of the album is near perfect and every song delivers.

If you've only heard the title track like me, you'll be pleasantly surprised and disappointed by the flow of the album. Too slow and somber near the end compared to the start.

Three hit tracks among songs that feel dead on arrival. Nothing has the same feel as Tear Away, Sinner, or Bodies, nor reaches a high point the rest of the album.
One of the greatest return to form albums I've ever heard, especially coming from Korn, I didn't think they had anything left after 2011.
There's no Metalcore album as perfect as The Opposite of December, the album features a wide range of emotion among infectious guitar riffs to deliver some of the greatest Metalcore songs you'll ever hear
The natural progression of their debut, this album exceeded any expectation. Infectious riffs filled with emotional choruses and heavy lyrics make this album one of the greatest Metalcore efforts of all time
Although rather unpolished, the first Killswitch Engage album is infectiously groovy, enticing, and consistent. A lot of the lyrics seem to be disregarded when writing reviews and it's a shame because all of these songs still hold up, with topics still being discussed today. This album was way ahead of it's time and doesn't get the love it truly deserves.
