Haven't listened but this could honestly be the worst album name I've ever heard of, and I'm a metalhead.
Who actually thought that putting Larry June on a Sweetest Taboo sample was a good idea?
My Life For Yours is genuinely a top 10 KSE song for me, I don't understand why it wasn't on the original album lol.
This is the original format of which I heard both The Opposite of December and Tear From The Red after it being recommended to me on r/metalcore of all places.
65 is insanely low for this, I understand it's technically "PTW Worship" but tbh they really don't sound that similar, only in the breakdowns is there really similarity.
I can admit that Geese is a bit of an acquired taste, Cameron Winter's vocals can be very uneasy, and sometimes intolerable. However, I do not feel that way, this is an incredibly unique album from a band that knows exactly what they want to be; groovy, serene, chaotic, everything. This is a good album, I'm just not completely sold on Emma's clean vocals.
Take out 8 songs from the track list and this is an easy 100. Although I do enjoy some of the songs I would take off, the album as a whole is a little too long and I think that does hurt the rating.
Edit: I'm a fucking idiot, this album is fantastic the whole way through. Train your attention span folks.
The raw emotion of this album is enough for me to enjoy it, however almost every song is catchy and will undeniably leave you thinking about it for the next few years of your life.
This is a pretty divisive album, MCR is definitely not for everyone and Gerard's vocals can be too much sometime, although I do genuinely think this album is must-hear for any rock/metal fan.
There isn't enough rock like this anymore, everyone is so focused on trying to be different or Deftones they forgot how to just slam jammy riffs.
Don't get me wrong, this is a great album. Dre is just a boring rapper, and he mostly shines on production.
Howard Jones is the greatest metalcore vocalist ever, this album is amazing, not a single bad song on here.
As far as modern classics go, Care for Me is almost untouched by anything. Near perfect album filled with impeccable vibes and emotion.
