Honestly I liked this more than I expected to. Rides "Nowhere" is an early conception of shoegaze that also has some mixtures of other genres like Jangle Pop in there. Although the album is short, it offers a lot of variety song to song. Dreams Burn Down offers a dreamy, drone-like instrumental and vocals, while songs like Kaleidoscope go a more Jangle Pop direction. Overall, I think the variety in songs keeps the album fresh.
