Listening to all albums I must hear before I die, part 7.
Finally got around to this album, and I was pretty hyped considering the genre tags. Unfortunately, it was not all I was hoping for. Not that the album was bad, just underwhelming. The buildup in the song was very pleasant and itriguing, but it didn't quite stick the landing in my opinion, with the second half feeling a bit undercooked by comparison. I do, however, get the appeal of it.

To be honest, I would like for my first review back to be more in-depth, but this album is so wierd that I find it hard to give a good analysis. We finally arrive at the first album on the list that I've heard before, and what an album it is! Madvillainy is one of the most legendary hip hop albums of all time, and that's for a good reason. MF DOOM's rapping is as unbelievable as always, with insane wordplay and flow. Madlib continues being one of the best producers of all time, and they both complement each other perfectly. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find the previous album on spotify, so I'll start numbering these after the album's place on the list.

Yup, this noice certainly is harsh, I don't really have much more to say about this album than that. It has some moments that are listenable, and it's definitely interesting, but oh my god do my ears hurt. I guess harsh noice just really isn't a genre for me.
