She's finally solidified her sound into the exact record fans have been thirsting after for almost a decade now. The results? Pretty good! Just wish it were a little more boundary pushing sonically, this still feels very consciously anchored to the zeitgeist's current taste profile. And now that the culture has finally caught up with Kim, I'm interested to see what she does to evolve her sound.
The music video is the focal point here, but at least this single resembles an actual song instead of a vehicle for some uncharacteristically out-of-touch provocation.
