Wow the singing is bad
Edit: But honestly it works well I will always love you bea macdonald
Ok, so this random song from the Armenian national selection for Eurovision 2025 might be in my top 3 songs of all time and I only realised now seriously what the fuck this is the most beautiful, emotional, I-fully-started-bawling-after-listening song I've ever heard. Please listen to this with its music video whether you are a Eurofan or not.
It's been said already, but seriously, this is SUCH a fun collection of songs. Super varied, interesting tracks, awesome community features and a bunch of energy overall. I assume a vol. 2 is on its way so very excited for that :D
Woah. This is such a grand song. It is so impressive how a 9 minute song feels so perfectly paced and I love the ambient into climactic post-rock ending. Very excited to hear what comes next :D
With endless energy, relentless groove and bundles of authentic, Indian-accented fun, Bloodywood have proved with this album how refreshing their sound is to the modern metal landscape. ‘Kismat’ is a surprise fave from the album, but all the singles are frankly awesome too. It only suffers from slight lack of variation but is still so so enjoyable.
Holy fucking shit. Full body chills.
This song, especially when combined with the music video, is no doubt one of my favourites of all time.
'Father, we've come to devour the eyes of God' is maybe THE best callout ever.
This possibly gonna be metal AOTY.
It's pretty darn heavy, with super groovy riffs and some serious junts. I adore the atmospheric parts and am glad they appear as much as they do. I think every single song stands out in some way, except 'Keep Sweet' and that's something that's really hard to find in a modern metal album. Also Courtney once again proving how she may be my favourite metal vocalist of all time.
WOW this is so beautiful I'm kinda speechless. We were seriously missing a song like this in the contest this year (closest is Portugal) and this is a phenomenal example. Switzerland continuing a VERY impressive two year streak of masterpieces. Also one of the best Eurovision album/single covers of all time.
Unfortunately and genuinely the most bland ballad I have ever heard from Eurovision :|
I literally went from despising Baller to now loving it almost as much as Knightclub. All it took was listening to the studio version twice a day and imagining how awesome adding a cello to it would sound.
Baller - 97/100
Mid studio version.
Insanely good live performance, staging and experience.
Unfortunately, although I really, really, seriously adore the last minute of this (live), I'm disappointed that this will win Eurovision 2025. This is like a 95 if I'm rating the Melfest live, but just not a great song when listening to it. Also, just like Tattoo, It'll probably grow off me anyway :|
Literally the embodiment of what Eurovision should be. Super fun, insanely catchy, very memorable, amazing instrumentation (these guitars sound so full and awesome), use of national language, use of traditional instruments and potential for otherworldly staging. Only thing that could be improved is a little more development of the chorus, at least for the last one. Still, that doesn't take away from the actual value of the song imo.
Folk metal all the way o7
