Holy shit, Foxing are BACK, bringing an intense, cathartic and beautiful self-titled album, 13 years into their career. The contrast between songs, and therefore overall variation of style and atmosphere, is crazy. The album is visceral and scorching but will ten seconds later transition to a stunning acoustic moment (Just listen to the phenomenal opener, ‘Secret History’), or glitchy synth bit. I’m blown away by this album, especially considering the apparent direction the ... read more
This is the most fun I've had listening to an album this year, I reckon. It's super lively, entertaining and genuinely funny too. I loved every song except Clowns, and even then, it wasn't anywhere near awful, I just wasn't a fan of the autotune (although I assume it's intentionally dumb). I don't believe I've ever listened to a 'New Rave' album but I think I need to listen to a lot more more now. The mix of punk and techno(?) was amazing and very ... read more
Awesome return to form from modern metal icons Spiritbox. A classic, brutal display of Courtney’s vocals and the band’s sound that hopefully means a new full length project is coming.
This album is by my friend and I ask that if a mix of chiptune-y electronic music and rock, with an underlying sci-fi narrative intrigues you at all, check it out! It's less than 40 minutes and available on Bandcamp, YouTube and Bandlab.

Well it's better than 'and I' which was a very very easy task, but I just wish these new singles had the massive, full-sounding chorus of Rim Tim Tagi Dim and, especially, the unique and interesting metal aspects. Disappointed in this new direction, but I'm still happy he's popular now.
Edit: It’s grown on me already! 63 to 69.
I wasn't sure what to expect going into this, as I really liked ':3' but noticed it wasn't in the album, and I hadn't listened to any other Kron projects. Unfortunately, this album kinda dragged on, and even in the first song it became repetitive and drawn out. The production and atmosphere is great, and the album would probably work much better as a relaxing soundscape, rather than what albums of other genres require, ... read more
I was introduced to them after listening to their amazing Glastonbury set and was looking forward to this album since then.
It did not disappoint.
The overall sound is so different to anything I've heard before, and feels refreshing and interesting. It seems like the creativity and innovative ideas were endless and the diversity of sounds are therefore awesome. Sure, it's an indie rock record with experimental ideas and aspects, but I truly don't think another album will ... read more
Very entertaining trap metal project that certainly shows an evolution since MILDRED. I really enjoy the electronic additions such as on QUEEN LEECH, and the overall production is as good as ever. At certain points it borders being slightly parodic, but the genuine breakdowns and awesome acoustic and regular guitar melodies help it stay serious. A very fun and rather crazy album.
Holy shit this album is insane. It's so enchanting and ethereal, but definitely eerie and sinister too. I felt so entranced and like I was pulled into a mysterious fantasy realm where witches were chanting and some evil curse was spread across a kingdom. I also adored the Arabic influences to the sound as I'm just an absolute sucker for augmented seconds oh yeah mhm.
A beautiful ambient song, but as someone who is not a fan of almost any spoken word, I just wish that there was the awesome music playing instead of an old guy speaking over it. If there was none of that, then I can't find a real flaw in it, so still, a great track!
Really cozy and vibey lil indie rock song. I really like the vocal harmonies and guitar-work. Also the cover fits the song so well! If anything, the backing vocals at the end seem a little too autotuned, but that doesn't really detract much at all. Awesome song!
This is the best all nighter yet. The diversity of vibes, genres and popularity of the artists is so fucking awesome and the quality of tracks are outstanding. I'm kinda speechless to be honest.
P.S. I might try to submit next year woo :o
I just had so much fun with this album. It’s honestly unlike any album I’ve heard, not necessarily due to uniqueness, but more personal taste. However, that didn’t matter one bit as the bluesy hard rock that this album is covered in was infectious. Catchy, epic and super entertaining! A gem.
Thought I’d actually listen to this as I enjoyed Scaring The Hoes more than most hip-hop I’ve ever heard. This was rather different, exploring a rap-rock/metal inclusion to the experimental hip-hop formula. Although I feared it would feel forced or cringy, it really worked, delivering a highly entertaining and unique album that lived up to the hype.
