Reviewing one album a day, day 13: I thought I was gonna like death grips but I just don’t. Hard listen and his voice sucks
Reviewing one album a day, day 12: Really good album. This is definitely a really 80s type of album and it works well. Now I feel like Nikki and some other songs bring it down but aside from that it’s an amazing project. Great voice great instrumentals and really inspiring to artists down the line.
Best: When doves cry or Purple rain
Worst: Darling Nikki
The falloff 💔
Uhm this album is not good the production at times is so bad for no reason, most Wayne verses are good but peanuts 2 N elephants is so ass. Why did he start doing metal in Loki’s theme. Kodak is mumbling nothing on alone in the studio. The first 9 songs are at least a 7/10 or 8/10 and after that it’s a 2/10 or 3/10 if lucky.
Best: Hip-Hop or Welcome to tha Carter
Worst: Peanuts 2 N Elephants
Reviewing one album a day, day 11: Really good album. With almost all these albums the instrumental is the best it can be. Really good meanings in the songs but, A bit hard for me to listen since im not a big fan of repetitive lyrics in songs but I could get over it for this album. This album has really high high's like Aerials and Chop Suey. And kind of low lows like X. I feel this album is really good and i'll like it more, the more I listen to it.
Best: Aerials
Worst: X
Reviewing one album a day, day 10: Its a good background music album, with really good background music. This record is 100% over hated but its not one of the greats for me. Has good vocals and stuff biggest downside is repetitive and sometimes annoying vocals. I dont know if im missing why people hate this but nice album.
Reviewing one album a day, day 9: DAMN this album is actually so good, Instrumentals amazing, rapping skills are immaculate. But damn, everything is so good about this. Only downside for me is "I Gotcha Back" But outside of that its just a few flaws and this album's perfect.
Best: tie between B.I.B.L.E, Liquid Swords, and 4th Chamber
Reviewing one album a day, day 8: This is a bit of a surprise for me. I wasnt expecting to enjoy this with how much I did. Uhm yeah theres almost nothing wrong with this masterpiece. Very emotional I will say.
Reviewing one album a day, day 7: Really good album. I loved the instrumentals loved the transitions his voice and basically everything about this album outside of a few songs that I don't think are perfect. Yeah but this is definitely a good listen. Sad to know it was dropped on the day of 9/11 kind of destroying there chances at fame but yeah good album.
Reviewing one album a day, day 6: This is bottom line perfect. His voice is amazing the lyrics are amazing everything about this is perfect. I honestly really really enjoyed this. Made me so happy feeling. He really just wanted all of us at peace. So, my takeaway, if you love chill music jazz music, jazz rap, this is definitely it.
Reviewing one album a day, day 5: instrumentals good lyrics good almost everything is perfect with this album. I'm not a fan of this type of music but it's basically perfect. I gave it a 99 just because I personally didn't enjoy those chill beats over a long time but it was good. I'LL LISTEN TO IT AGAIN ONE DAY.
Reviewing one album a day, day 4: This album is just not my thing. Making things more raw and changing up was a surprise but I didn’t like it. I understand others will but I’m just not a fan of most of the lyrics and Kurt’s voice.i can see there’s a time and a place for the album but it’s not my thing.
Reviewing one album a day, day 3: This is a perfect album nothing to criticize on this it’s a generation experience has some Beatles vibes but it’s still its own thing. Definitely the best rock album I’ve ever heard
Reviewing one album a day, day 2: This is really good an amazing rock album and an amazing listen top tier rap album by a long shot
Damn it, this is one of the best albums peggy ever has made. In my eyes only lp offline beats it. Ballad of a poor man is top tier
Its a middle of the line album but holy shit Track 1 made me want to rip my ears out multiple times I hate that song
