PVZ has a special place in my heart, and so does the soundtrack..
I think i heavily prefer this over Low :)
What an amazing experience, im still shocked by how amazing the shift is ( Sense of Doubt to Neuköln), those tracks sound like they came from another galaxy, especially Moss Garden, whenever I listen to it I feel like im deep inside the ocean, absolutely magical. What an incredible choice to do it in the middle of the album and to close it off with an absolute banger??? Fantastic.
And not to mention the title track, it's quite literally a ... read more
The beginning of Depression Bowie
From Station to Station to "Heroes" contains some of Bowie's saddest songs that I have ever heard..
The desperate and urgent tone on Word on a Wing and just the utter sadness on Wild is the Wind make me feel like im on the verge of crying or just feel soulless while listening to these two specific tracks.
"Lord, I kneel and offer you
My word on a wing
And I'm trying hard to fit among
Your scheme of things

Can't believe a 16 year old made Ribs, very impressive and an absolute banger.. The vibes are so immaculate I can imagine just driving into the sunset while the song plays.
And the album itself is also impressive, and what's more amazing it what she has put out after this debut, which introduced me more to Lorde's music and quickly became obsessed with it. Her vocal style, her melodies, her writing is what makes her an outstanding pop artist in the modern era, and it's going ... read more

After a few more listens to this album I have officially been bratified
What made me not like this album so much was that I wasn't really vibing with the whole sound that this album has, but I gradually became more comfortable with it the more I listened to it and given to how open and honest the topics on most of the songs are on here, I also became very curious how her other projects sound like as this was my first full Charli xcx listening experience and with this ... read more
Never dug this one, thought it was an ok record. But then I listened to it with good headphones and oh my, holy smokes this thing is ridonkidonk
Might take a few more listens to fully appreciate this because i still prefer Heroes over this : )
Edit: 70 - - - > 90 - - - > 98
After approximately 10 listens I understood why this is considered THE Bowie album
It's definitely his most ambitious project, which is why it sounds like 2 albums in 1
What made me realise why this one is so ... read more
I remember some people telling me that the last track on here is gonna be the best thing I will ever hear, they weren't wrong.
Best 2 hours of my life, I love the fact that it got better and better with each track, just an amazing experience from front to back.
I also adore the bassist here
The greatest alien rockstar ever, Ziggy Stardust will forever remain one of the greatest fictional characters in music history.
And I have to begin with by mentioning the magnificent opener to this album, Five Years. It made me emotional the first time I've listened to it and it still gets me every now and them, a big factor why is because of Bowie saying that his brain hurts a lot, and it makes me think of Lazarus, if you know you know.
Throughout this album it tells an incredible story of ... read more
