There are moments of real beauty on Gore, just listen to Phantom Bride. I just don't know why the mixing sounds like that.

The trance tracks are really great but the genre blending doesn't work for me.

I understand the first half of this album goes overboard on the Christopher Reeve, midget and Caitlin Jenner jokes to show how anachronistic Slim Shady looks in 2024. What I don't understand is how after tearing back the curtains to show the 'real' Eminem, we continue to get features from Skylar Grey and Jelly Roll. Eminem seems to have no willingness to change his sound or approach to music this far into his career.
