Although I haven’t heard too much of Thug, I honestly think this has to be my favorite work of his.
Absolutely great song.
Not much else to say, just great song honestly.
This is amazing, but I have to give it slightly less credit by the fact that literally all the songs use the same formula. The riffs are definitely good and make the songs diverse, but it’s just much too similar every time.
Amazing melodic death metal. Inspired generations of bands with similar sounds, and a legion of copycats.
I really don’t think Tame Impala being one person is crazy.
Great psych elements, it mixes very nicely with the pop production.
A black metal album made by two multi-instrumentalists, it’s dark, in terms of the vocals, atmosphere, and even the song lengths. They did a great job prioritizing the emotion and atmosphere, given how simple the playing is. They ended up changing their logo afterwards though, I guess because people said the old one looks like literally balls. The first song is great. The second song is good too. Besides those, it’s a nice listen, but definitely not close to the peak. You can hear ... read more
Very nice listen, essential classic rock for any fan of such. It falls off heavily by the latter half unfortunately, but the good songs solidify it greatly.
I really haven’t heard this before? This is actually incredible. Movie.
The first song on here is my favorite song OAT, and I rated this album about 50 minutes ago saying that. (90 is a perfect score based on how I rate)
I honestly think Master of Puppets is kind of overrated, but there is now way to deny this is absolutely peak music.
Absolutely essential metal, there’s no way around it. Completely iconic guitar tone, how can you not love that.
Master of Puppets or Ride the Lightning is difficult to decide for me.
Megadeth releasing a self-titled this late? Not to mention it will mostly likely be their last album as we know.
Lore of this band: Make the same formulaic thing until you get it right.
Disc 1 is enjoyable for the most part, but disc 2 is kind of a drag honestly.
I swear Steven Wilson sounds like he wants to say “Low taper fade” the whole album. Definitely better than most of his stuff though, this just feels weird to me. Audiophiles praise this album. They are definitely not wrong though. The songs are definitely pretty mixed in terms of how good they are though.
As of editing this on May 9th, 2026, it is now a must hear, with a rating of 80.
Yes, this album is literally called “?”. For the strange name though, this is actually surprisingly good.
Not really interesting for anything. I recently listened to At The Gates album Slaughter of the Soul, which I held off on listening to for a while, but when I did hear it, opened me up to how unoriginal a lot of bands like this are.
