I will defend this album with my whole heart. This was at the peak of Ice Spice hate so I can understand why so many people rated it so low but I found myself enjoying a lot of the tracks here especially Did it First and Bb belt and I find it crazy how she was polarized for using a shit line when "I'm the shit" is such a popular term. It feels like people just want to hate on her for no reason.
Back in 2017 I would've gave this album a 100/100 which is crazy because now it can barely break 70
I love this album. Blonde wouldnt exist without this album. This album redifined the RNB genre and in my opinion saved it. If I could, I would give this album a higher rating than 100.
I find myself coming back to this album alot and it's earcandy to hear this album.
The story this album tells is very clear. Tyler the creator doesn't have a good rap voice at all and in my opinion he should stick to singing which he did for most this album.
In my opinion this is the best trap album of all time and very clearly stands out as Travis Scotts best album I mean it's not even close
Production on the album of immaculate I have to say Pierre did his deed on this album. Also all the features were perfectly placed I really have no complaints. I find myself revisiting this album all the time with tracks like Fell in luv, Mileage, and Choppa don't Miss.
Most of the tracks feel like earrape with little replay value although it's Ken Carson don't expect much. The only reason this is not getting a 0 is because of the influence it had on the Underground Scene
While I didn't like most of the tracks the highlights of the album were to great to give it a lower score
