WELL it was not what I was expecting or really hoping for but I'm happy with this. It's definitely a grower. I love how reflective this one is, maybe the themes she covers aren't super new or anything but it's nice hearing these themes covered with years of reflection and the left over lyrical touchings she's carried on with her from folklore. This was very disappointing, not that his last two projects were groundbreaking or anything but I was hoping for more growth. It's not bad but Joshua can do better, or I thought he could at least.

No question his best writing is here, songs like "Tissues", "Memories", "The Boy in The Black Dress" show a lot of the growth people have been waiting for from his music. He does a solid job swinging between the sound he did in weird! and heavy 80's rock tracks, it all blends pretty well. The project is his most consistent sonically. I still think yungblud has yet to give us his best work, but this is definitely his best so far in his career.

Sounds like music to irritate your pet dogs ears. I really couldn't find any strong redeeming qualities to this album. The production just did not sit well with his voice. The mixing is making his vocals sound way worse than even a live setting. Though his voice didn't sound too great overall, there is so little variety to many of these tracks because he's stuck so far up his register. Impressive? Maybe, but it sure doesn't sound too great.
You can hear the influences 100% and she's not doing them better, but tbh I didn't mind it's still solid dark pop.

Cheers for the follow! I think Beg for you is a little too generic by Charli XCX standards, but still very much an enjoyable song
