THANK YOU GUYS FOR 200 FOLLOWERS!!!! YOU ROCK!!!!
This guys hair is cool. "Too Bright" is a true artistic statement by perfume genius. Sonically it sticks in it's lane, not really going crazy with any of the instrumentals. The vocals are good, but they're not mind blowing or anything. The album as a whole just screams basic art pop record. So why do I love it so much? The way "Too Bright" weaves all these components together makes it an amazing experience by itself, but ... read more
Before I get to the meat of the record I wanna say something. Thank you all for being awesome and getting me to 100 followers. I truly love each and everyone of you for the support you've given me :). Now to the record!
Well this is a weird opinion. " Cool It Down" is Yeah Yeah Yeahs best album, no questions asked. This is a pretty short album, only clocking in at about 32 minutes, but I think that works in it favor. It being so short means that there is no filler whatsoever and ... read more
It's Good! "It's Blitz!" is more of a jam than a cohesive project, which I'm fine with, but it does take a little teeny bit away from the experience. What the album lacks in structure however, makes up for in the sheer amazingness of the songs themselves. The guitars on this album are WILD. Every track has something incredible about it, and the vocals always deliver. "It's Blitz!" is just a fun ass album.
HE PULLED OUT ALL THE STOPS! "Let's Start Here." Is lil Yachty at his most refined, his most experimental, and his most adventurous. The psychedelic rock aspect is cool, but what I love most about this album is Yachty himself. He sounds awesome and it feels like he really put time and effort into this. He called in so many amazing vocalists, musicians, and producers to help him out, and it really shows. The songs sound vibrant and full of life, and the overall vibe is out of this ... read more
Titanic Rising 2: More emotional than ever! "And in the Darkness, Hearts Aglow" is a really emotionally driven album, maybe even more than Titanic Rising. It builds such lush atmospheres with glorious production that makes you feel like you're at the bottom of the ocean. It embodies the feelings of sadness and loneliness to a remarkable degree, and it accompanies these feelings with incredible lyricism from Weyes Blood. Lyrics that touch on love, loss and everything in-between. ... read more
Truly heart wrenching. A very pained and sad experience, but worth every second.
The worst of the kick franchise unfortunately :(. There is definitely some good stuff on here for sure, but kICK iiiii drags a ton throughout its whole track list. The ambient tracks can feel boring and tedious to get through, and the whole flow of the album is just off.
Truly an eye opening experience. Everyone should listen to this to get a true feel of what's awaiting them in the depths of the underworld. This is what the CIA uses to torture terrorists to get answers out of them. It makes children cry and men fall to their knees. It makes women pass out and the elderly pass on to the great beyond. Never will an album top the sheer magnitude of ass this one brings to the table.
This is the definition of cool. The production from Peggy is out of this world, the chemistry is 100% there, and the song titles are fun as hell!

I love this album an unhealthy amount.

Well, after listening to the new album, I can really say this grew off me. It’s still amazing don’t get me wrong, but i just don’t love Danny on this. He’s good, but drags it down slightly. But anyway, still great.
I'm really bad at putting my feeling into words, so I'll just say this, this was such a wonderful and emotional listen. "The Age of Adz" is indescribable in the atmosphere it produces and the sheer sound it makes. One of the best art pop albums I've ever heard, period.
I like Michigan a little more surprisingly. Illinois is a really great album no questions asked, but I don’t get why people love it so much. It’s not life altering or groundbreaking or super special, it’s just a really good folk album. It stays in its lane and never really leaves. That’s not a bad thing at all, but it just doesn’t scream 10/10. Either way, Illinois is a great time and very enjoyable.
