A dubstep project unlike any other that has some messy moments, but is mostly very enjoyable.
I've enjoyed kmoe's music for nearly two years now, after I came across his song Never Let You Leave. I forgot about him for a little while, until rediscovering him last September. And I'm very glad I did. Not only did I delve deeper into his short yet incredible discography, but the rollout for his debut project K1 began just a few months later, with the song "Thousand yard stare." I was surprised with the new sonic direction kmoe was taking, but I enjoyed it a ton: ... read more
I slept on this project for too long. So many great and catchy songs. I wish it was longer, but this takes the SUMMER03 sound, and adds nostalgia and maturity.
Favorites: car seats, switching sides, misery, on my mind

This album is awesome. When this came out it was easily midwxst’s best project (now I think it’s been topped by BIA4), and I love the way it takes his sound and gives it a more acoustic feeling, while still being true to himself. Sure, there are a few cringeworthy lyrics every now and then, but the storytelling is there, which is what’s most important to me. Everyone has already said this, but the production throughout this entire album is phenomenal. You’ve got enough ... read more
Nice mixtape, but this sounds like a group of throwaways for the most part. Since it’s smokedope, the throwaways are still pretty solid, just pretty forgettable.
Favorites: HURACHES, CHRONIC, MY FAVORITE LIE

Fuck it. This is my favorite TOP song. Everything about this song stays just as incredible whether I’m on listen #1 or #100.
Stay true forever is, ironically, a project that is derivative of other underground rappers like OsamaSon and Nettspend. And the moments where it sounds like those two, specifically OsamaSon, were the only moments I really enjoyed. I already didn’t like re: wired a whole lot, but this is a pretty significant step down.

I need to make one major thing clear about this rating: this reflects my personal enjoyment of the album, not how objectively high in quality it is. This album is one of the more creative and unique works in rap that I've come across, but I just didn't personally get much out of it, and I don't enjoy billy's vocal style much.
Yet another great project that released on April 4th. I strongly disliked beastboi's prior project "WINGZ & FANGZ," with it ranging from mediocre at best to a painful listen at worst. More than anything, "THE BLOOD OF THE STARS" sounds more professional and refined, from its bangers to its chill vibes. This is a serious contender for the EDM album of the year, alongside Primal Rights' "Lavender."

Awesome EP. So many fun moments, and it's generally really unique.
Favorites: BURN, STFU (#1), ACT LIKE DAT, ALWAYS WITH ME
Least favorite: FUNK MACHINE (this EP would be at least a 90 without this song)
Nothing incredible or world-changing, but a very fun listen. This released at the perfect time of the year, too.
Favorites: I Think It’s You, Arc De Triomphe, Images
Least favorites: None, this project is really consistent

One of the most creative rage albums I’ve ever heard. Unmusique is the perfect length, and sounds like the Opium style with some EDM influence, which is becoming a staple of deadAir. Lucy himself (confusing ass phrase π) is a unique vocalist, with some great inflections that remind of Playboi Carti, someone who I’ve repeatedly praised for using his voice as an instrument. I’ve been constantly revisiting this album since it ... read more
Didn’t exactly live up to the hype for me (especially after seeing it live) but this is still a fun vibe.
#1 skye glazer speaking, this shit is INSANE. The guitar riffs are instant earworms, and whoever that female vocalist is also cooked. The ending reminds me of brakence slightly, and if you know me you know that's a very good thing. I'm becoming more and more addicted to this song with every listen.
Vocals are pretty hit or miss at times, but this is a nice song. The glitchy textures sound really cool.
