Simz being Simz! It's a solid single but had no idea it was coming out lol
Undoubtedly a strong release by Hayley, but I just couldn't help but feel like this album lasted forever!
They've never really been for me, but twenty one pilots release a pretty enjoyable album here! I think some of the tracks bring far less to the album than others do, but overall it's a pretty solid release!
It's as incredible a debut as you can get. I've followed Maruja since Tao in 2020, and whilst they showed promise then, you never would have predicted that they would grow and develop into perhaps the most exciting group to come out of the UK this decade. Their previous couple of EP's were already exciting, but this pushes Maruja into a whole new echelon.

Parcels really have fun on this album - and you can feel it throughout the whole tracklist. They continue their brilliant harmonies and funky rhythms, but mix it up in a few tracks as they introduce some new sounds. A really enjoyable listen and I'm glad to see Parcels continue to thrive!
Gorillaz being back may be the last hope humanity has left - this track is a brilliant fun song and I love the direction Damon is heading with this album! The story behind the single is quirky and reflected perfectly in the sound of the single too!
Some absolutely brilliant moments here, but it's let down a bit by some tracks that don't really bring much to the overall album experience. Drop some of that filler in the middle of the album and you have a stellar release here!
angel candles carries this EP big time, although the closing track touch grass is pretty enjoyable too. The middle tracks did nothing for me unfortunately!
A solid release but not my favourite track from them but the beat is pretty solid! I can see it growing on me though!
I'll be honest, I really didn't like the singles as standalone tracks - I found them quite hollow and devoid of identity. Within the whole album, they do seem to have found their place a bit more, but I would still consider this album to be a step down from shame's previous works.
What makes this most hard to judge for me though is the fact that shame always perform so much better live than they do in the studio - there's something so powerful about their live sound that ... read more
