Had to do a double take with this album as it completely contrasts my previous (albeit limited) view of Ptm. The heavy sounds work quite well and it's generally a pretty solid album all around - just not what I was expecting at all!
A pleasant listen but lacks any real standout qualities. Far from bad, but also unfortunately entirely forgettable
Whilst it may not be his strongest album in terms of its pure content, I found this to be one of the most enjoyable listens from Danny since Atrocity Exhibition
It would be unfair for me to rate this honestly without knowing the language at all, but on the surface this seems like a really creative and intriguing listen!
A really good release from Sorry, one that really builds on the promise they showed in their previous release! Some of the tracks bring more to the whole experience than others, but even those weaker tracks are still pretty solid! There's a fun variety of sounds here without sounding too messy or chaotic, a very enjoyable listen!
A wonderfully beautiful listen from Mavis Staples. A bit weaker in the middle section for me personally, but finishes as triumphantly as it begins
A heavy yet utterly serine listen. Really interesting!
Catchy with a solid feature from IDLES - looking forward to seeing how it slots into the album!
Emotional and powerful - not really my type of music but there are some really strong moments here
A wonderfully floaty listen that really isn't much like yeule's later work at all!
Featuring some of my favourite songs of the year so far, Plan 76 shows that The Orchestra, For Now are one of the most exciting acts about today - at least 'for now'!
A really underwhelming album for me! Maybe I came in with expectations set far too high, but none of the tracks here really captivated me and even though I felt like the album improved a bit as it went on, it never really did anything to stand out to me! People seem to rate the opening track as one of the best, but for me this was the weak point of the album and unfortunately set the tone for quite a poor listen throughout!
Alice Phoebe Lou fails to really get much going on this album - failing to reach the heights of her previous works
Really enjoyable and well produced, for me personally I felt like I wanted even more though!
