QUICK THOUGHTS: A digestible intergalactic exploration of genre-blending perfection that proves great jazz records are still coming out today. Existing in the same vein as Kamasi Washington's "The Epic", this record exemplifies exactly what jazz should sound like 2019 - boundary-pushing while having a clear understanding of its roots.

QUICK THOUGHTS: Generic *beep-boops* and *beep-bops* that don't amount overly interesting compositions. I see this record being praised everywhere for its innovative sound, but I'm truly struggling to find something unique about it. All I hear is subpar industrial-influenced club/electronic music with pretty familiar sounds and arrangements. I love the seamless transitions from track-to-track, but the tracks themselves tend to be pretty underwhelming with few exceptions.

QUICK THOUGHTS: This really the sound we gonna let replace trap? The sad thing is there’s a decent album burried underneath the filler, but the streaming age prevented that from happening. Maybe if it was condensed to its 9 strongest songs it’d be near a 7, but alas, that’s not the case. Sorry Mr. WRLD.

QUICK THOUGHTS: An electric album created from solely the sounds of plastic objects is a gimmicky thesis - but I'll admit a pretty cool one at that. It leads to some interesting moments, creating a listening single player game to identify the object, but beyond that, there's no incentive for replay value. PeeWee's Playhouse on ecstasy is something I only care to experience once, thank you very much.
