For reasons that allude me, music journalism at large continues to reward 100 gecs' talentless attempts at noise-making. The labels of "experimental," "futuristic" and "madness" are constant buzzwords thrown around to describe 100 gecs. These descriptors are all desperate in their attempts to justify what is utterly meaningless musicianship. The music is so infatuated on being "different" it's forgotten to be enjoyable.
