A bundle of creative joy that sticks with you. Listened to this for the first time when I was 9 and I’m 17 and still know most songs front to back. A true classic
This is dumbest bullshit I’ve ver heard, but was bro on top of the building? It does lose some of the extreme autism dumb steam by the end.
Strikes a weird tone between trying to be experimental, but also still having like hooks and stuff. Odd ass album
My best friend said The Crunge was great and No Quarter was ass. I may have to commit a crime
The only Christmas song I think is perfect. It just embodies the feeling the holiday gives me and just feels like actually perfect. I love this song, it is Christmas to me.
Big goofy music. The album doesn’t really work for me when it’s not big goofy cause then it’s boring. Behind the Mask is an actual good song, but the rest while sounding good is just big goofy.
Not as good as Laughing Stock, but not much is. It’s still really tight, but it doesn’t attach as much of an itch and Laughing Stock does, and a lot of it feels like a less memorable or defined version of what’s going on there. Eden and Desire were probably my favorites cause they gotta crazy guitar and Laughing Stock don’t got.
Started off a little rough but once it got past Sweet Crap it really got going for me. It’s not really my thing, but damn the part half goes off.
This has got the sauce. The saucy sauce. It’s basically the exact style of music that just floats my boat, you know.
If it wasn’t for “Touched” and “Loomer” this shit would be a really high 10. Genuinely aside for my those two songs, all of these songs are one of my favorite songs ever made. It’s so peak
Bobert got the bars, and the Watchmen reference
Edit: (95-100) I just have no complaints
This is what I would sound like as an album. This album is uncompromising in its vision and that alone is an achievement. Also that fact that these guys were in college while they made it also makes in outstanding. Then the big reason why I love this is that it reaches these emotional heights that, like the best emotions, don’t last long enough and fade out. It’s perfect. Alvin Row is like the greatest song I’ve ever heard
