80 -> 88 (only was an 80 because i didnt know how it would fit into hut)

anyways this mercurial world project is pretty amazing. i feel like compared to imaginial disk, this album hinges more on mica's vocal capabilities a little more on imaginial disk, as the production here is a little downgrade from imaginial disk (still amazingly produced though, production's easily still a 8.8+, it's just that imaginial disk is that good)

im vibing with it... sounds a little more commercially streamlined though. many songs i loved throughout, but the weaker ones felt like commercial hits while the amazing ones are still amazing.
also, which each song being 5m+ long, it drags on a bit.

i love piano rock music. it's superior to every other type of rock music (unless it's avant garde, like in rainbows). right now, i want to compare coldplay to radiohead if they weren't experimental and was instead soft rock. "as an abstract hip hop album, there really is no narrative. it's a snapshot of many different ideas into an amalgation of an album. there is no definitive or unifying factor that ties this album together.
as for the lyricism, i'm not sure if you paid attention to the whole thing. sure, some songs touch upon common ground for many topics adjacent to many other hip hop records. i'll give you that. but saying that the wordplay and lyricism is average? come on. if you search up any video highlighting all his rhyme schemes on any song, you would see how insane they really are. plus there are so many witty one-liners
