7/10 -> 89/100
Never realized just how unique this album really is. Me personally I find a lot of trap music to be really repetitive to me because a lot of it sounds the same to me, but the super dreamy, psychedelic and almost ambient sound really boosts this.
Sadly the album really falls off after only 7 songs, they just seem really average but still unique to me.

Honestly not like a SUPER life changing experience, but it’s mainly the fact that this album is just completely full with 10/10 music.
Loved the super complex riffs… a lot, the sludge influence for the vocals, and groovy drums. Super replayable, accessible and overall I am genuinely super impressed with the production especially for their time, AND for the fact that this is only their second album.

Meshuggah's lowest rated album.
The vocals kinda sound like that they are just ripping off Metallica, and considering that this is thrash metal I wouldn't be surprised.
Also I gotta say that these vocals are what I would expect viking metal vocals to sound like.
The guitar solos aren't great but overall the production is actually really impressive for a debut album.

Opeth’s lowest rated album, it’s still good but it isn’t really all that interesting or groundbreaking compared to something like Ghost Reveries.

Sounds amazing, suffers heavily from repetition and low engagement.
Not only it just sounds the same by ear, but pretty much every song follows a very similar formula.
